Kurt was amazing. The tour was very beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the sites that we visited and he even gave us some photography gems as well. I wish that I would have taken the tour earlier instead of waiting until my last day. I would have loved to see more.

Loved this tour! So many beautiful sights. I’m a solo traveler and have gone on quite a few of Viator tours and this was the best I’ve done! Chris was a great tour guide and really elevated the entire tour.

The Beautiful Colors of Hawaii tour with Chris was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. Chris is knowledgeable, passionate, and truly loves what he does and it shows in every moment of the tour. The scenery was breathtaking, the stops were perfectly timed, and we got to see parts of Hawaii we never would have discovered on our own. Chris shared fascinating history, local insight, and fun stories that made the island come alive in a way no guidebook ever could. Everything was seamless, relaxed, and thoughtfully planned. This wasn’t just a tour it felt like being shown around paradise by a local friend. I left with amazing photos, great memories, and a much deeper appreciation for Hawaii. If you’re on the fence, book it. This tour was truly amazing and one of the highlights of our trip. Mahalo, Chris!

This is a great excursion For anyone that wants to see much of the islands highlights and get expert help in setting up your photographic compositions. There was enough time at each stop to enjoy the views, get your shots, get help from the guide, and not feel rushed. Kurt is a fabulous guide showing us his love of the island.

Here’s a cleaner, stronger version that still feels real and direct: Review (Rewritten): My wife and I were in Hawaii for our honeymoon, our first trip here and our first big tour—and it did not disappoint. Everything was spot-on. The views were incredible, the conversation was easy, and the food was great. Malcolm has an awesome energy and a sharp eye for photography. We ended up getting way more than just a tour; he took a ton of photos of us at every stop. It felt like a photoshoot and a tour wrapped into one. If you’re going to book any tour, make it this one.

Emily was an excellent tour guide! She used our phone camera to take many personal photos of us with the beautiful scenery. She also made suggestions for unique photos. This was a small group tour and I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic way to see parts of the island that are often overlooked. Andrew took us to various lookout and points of interest, and showed us various tips for taking better photos. We were all using mobiles, but "proper" cameras also welcome! We really did see some great views, and visited one huge, almost deserted, beach. The time flew by, no hesitation in recommending.

The sites we visited were beautriful and well worth seeing. Loved the lunch and beach stop. The guide was a bit distriacted by "select participants" on the tour. This was obvious by the collection of pictures sent out.

Wonderful experience. Alex is the best! A very knowledgeable guide chock full of Hawaiian history and knows the best spots for photos. He even takes pics of the guests. He even has a special surprise for you at the end of the tour.

We had seen Honolulu and Waikiki Beach on a prior visit so we chose this to focus more on the natural sights this time. We were not disappointed. Curt picked us up on time at the pier port. If you are a cruiser, turn off your airplane mode so that you can get messages from the driver and guide. We went to some amazing outlooks and vistas. The local lunch stop was good. Curt took pics of us and offered advice. He sent us all his shots at the end of the day and treated us to a delicious Hawaiian doughnut. The vehicle was air conditioned and comfortable. There were a total of 7 of us on the tour. Thanks for a great day, Curt.

We saw beautiful places and our guide provided lots of interesting information along the way. It was a good sized group, only 7 and the guide so it was fairly personalised. The van was comfortable and at the end our guide shared photos he had taken which were fabulous.

When I tell you that Mac the tour guide gave me life with his energy and humor! I had a BLAST! The stops were AMAZING! Breathtaking views. Definitely gave a little bit of everything in a good amount of time. Not too long or too short as I avoid any tour that says 8 plus hours. I loved all the stops but my favorite was the beach/lunch stop! Mac is HANDS DOWN gonna be my go to tour guide. If he’s hosting..I’m on it!!!

Kurt was a terrific guide. None of us on the tour had fancy cameras, but I learned some tricks with my iPhone camera. We saw a few sights I had seen before, but also some new ones, and Kurt brought us to a wonderful hole-in-the-wall place for kalua pork and coconut shrimp for lunch. A great experience overall!

Precious Old & Precious New Memories!!

On this trip I carried pictures from 1969, when I traveled from Ft Sill, OK, to meet my beloved Army Officer husband for his R&R from the battlefields of Vietnam. He died 12 years ago. I wanted to stand once again in those locations in the pictures, where he once stood, remembering those precious moments. Mac, the WONDERFUL driver that day went above and beyond my greatest expectations, finding those exact spots. I cry in joy even now as I write this review. Thank you, Mac. Got picked up in Waikiki, visited a lot of beautiful places I wouldn’t have otherwise seen. Kurt provided a lot of good information on photography and took good care of us. Had fun trying out his tips on all the gorgeous scenery. Stopped for plate lunch. Had a really nice time!

This tour was a great way to see the island and to learn more about photography. Kurt was our tour guide and was very enthusiastic about his island.
