Best tour of lower Manhattan

Patrick was one of the best guides we’ve had. He was very knowledgeable, spoke clearly, and very approachable. He pointed out items throughout the tour that we would have walked right by, but these really made the tour interesting. We went to Chelsea Market, High Line, Meat Packing District, Greenwich Village, and SoHo. We saw architecture, art, literature, music, neighborhoods, etc. I highly recommend this tour; you will never view NYC the same.

Great way to see real neighborhoods

It was really lovely to actually see all of the different neighborhoods to get a much better feel for how New York is really lived. We loved Greenwich village especially. Our tour guide, Dan, shared a lot of tidbits of information that we might not otherwise get. My son and I don't know New York well so we didn't have a good idea of what we wanted or needed to see which I think was the only challenge in making it 5 stars - our interests weren't always aligned with where the tour guide took us. I would recommend doing a bit of research before hooking up with the guide - but otherwise it was a fantastic way to experience the city.
