Our guide was fantastic. She was engaging and I loved the little tidbits of throwback she gave to the musical. We learned a lot of history and I loved her appreciation of the founding fathers. The kids learned something too! Oh! She was funny, as well.

The Alexander Hamilton tour was very informative highlighting his contributions in history regarding the development of the financial institutions today. Our guide Ace was extremely knowledgeable about the life of Alexander Hamilton and the impact he had on the will of New York and the rest of the developing new world. We look forward to learning more of his history. This tour was very unique as we walked through time! Would highly recommend to those who enjoy architecture and history.

Ace Cook showed us sights that we would not have found ourselves such as a plaque where Thomas Jefferson lived across from the Federal Reserve. She described a realistic historical conversation that Jefferson would have had with Hamilton after inviting Hamilton to his home across the street. Ace's engaging presentation made us want to return to some of the stops to learn more and explore the historical connections, and we did. My husband and I were in a small group so we heard every word. It was time well spent.

Jesse was out guide and she was fantastic! She had a great grasp of Hamilton’s History and and the musical and did a fantastic job of cross referencing the musical as she brought these sites to life in the financial district of NYC. It was fascinating to see the sites that were present in the late 1700s and where they have been built over, she did a great job of showing us what they would have looked like then. Highly recommend!

Tour guide, Astrid, brings Alexander Hamilton and colonial and post-revolutionary war NYC to life. From the days of the Dutch settlement, to the building of the “wall” to stave off the earliest Native American settlers, to the British bloodless takeover from the Dutch and the later British occupation during the revolutionary war, Astrid put early NYC into vivid historical perspective and helped describe Hamilton’s role in establishing NYC as the world’s financial capital. I was particularly excited to walk along Stone St, in the footsteps of the founding fathers. It was great to identify the homesites of Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson, and to visit Federal Hall, the site of George Washington’s inauguration.

We loved this tour! We learned so much! Astrid was amazing! She is very friendly and knows a lot about Hamilton's history and all the Financial District. Taking the tour before the musical was important to understand some points that are not so clear in the musical. This tour was one of the highlights of New York.

Stone Street, Federal Reserve Bank, site of Jefferson’s house. Astrid, or “Ace”, was a great guide. Knowledgeable, well-spoken, gave us sit breaks and places where there was AC. Personable. Witty. The whole 2 hours was packed with information and conversation.

NYC had a 5.1 earthquake on the day of our tour with after shock warnings. My 12 year old daughter from Ireland felt the earthquake and cried and begged not to do the tour. When I reached out to Viator and explained my child’s fear and asked for a refund I was told… tough shi-t. Not our problem.

Michaela, our tour guide was amazing! My kids aged 12 and 15 loved this tour. Michaela was energetic, knowledgeable and you can tell she loves talking about Hamilton and his history.
