I gifted this to my daughters and their boyfriends for Christmas and it was the BEST decision ever. They absolutely loved the tour and their tour guide, Chad. They went back to 2 of the stops after the tour just to bring food back home with them! They said that Chad was so informative and provided so much insight into all of the culture packed into Chinatown. He also provided further recommendations of places to go and eat at. Most importantly, they said that they would do it all over again! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!

Really enjoyed the tour. Perfect combination of history, culture, local knowledge, and food. The tour of the local fresh market was really interesting. Chad clearly loves the area and the food, and conveys his enthusiasm and knowledge perfectly.

There was only my husband and I on the tour as no one else signed up On other tours we have taken it is always fun to meet other people from all over So this was a disappointment Usually try more than 3 foods but it was only a 2 hour tour ! Not our favorite tour but tour guide was very pleasant

I liked that this tour did not try to cram in little Italy and Chinatown into one tour. Chad was knowledgeable about the history of Chinatown and took us to three tastings. The first stop had the best baked char siu bao I’ve ever had. The last stop was a good sized slice of a stuffed pancake which was really tasty.

We were after a more unique New York experience and got it. Chris was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We learned a great deal about Chinatown as far as history and the culture that is specific just to this district. We had our 3 teenage kids who us who were tricked into learning on their Spring Break and did not even mind! The food was great, we went back to get more pork buns after the tour was over!

Chad was wonderful! My boyfriend & I ended up being the only ones on the tour- therefore it became a private one for us. He was informative, enthusiastic, passionate about the knowledge of Chinatown & as a chef- he knew where the good spots are for the hidden gems. Highly recommend for anyone- whether this is your first time visiting the city or your 100th time.
