Depends on the type of food tour you want. The tour operators directed us to some fabulous food from local places. However they didn’t give us any historical information about the area or the food. I’m used to food tours where you get both - a tour of food plus the history. If you’re looking for both this isn’t the food tour for you but if you just want to try amazing local food then go for it.

Thank you for joining us. We’re soo glad you enjoyed the fabulous food! Our tour is intentionally designed to highlight the incredible local spots and flavors that make Brooklyn one of the most exciting food neighborhoods in the world. Rather than being a traditional history tour, the experience focuses on discovering amazing dishes from carefully curated neighborhood gems and exploring the area’s food culture like a local. We appreciate you joining us and hope to welcome you again for more delicious discoveries.

Wonderful experience with chef Nicolas and his wife Yohanna in Brooklyn. We highly recommend the tour and we experienced food from different corners of the world. Hans & Guðrún from Iceland.

It was a surprisingly pleasant day for February in New York City and we were all excited for a "taste" of Brooklyn. The tour leaders were prompt and friendly and the food was fantastic! I guess the only ting that I was hoping for was a little more of the "flavor" of the culture of the area. The guides were good at sharing things as we walked with individuals in our group but didn't really take the time to present things about the different eateries to everyone. Don't get me wrong, as a chef and member of the Brooklyn community he knew his stuff, I just wish the presentation was a little more polished. It felt more like them sharing their favorite places to grab a bite than a "tour" of the area.

Thank you for joining us. We’re so glad you enjoyed the food and had a great winter day exploring Brooklyn with us.
Our tours are intentionally designed to feel like walking the neighborhood with a local chef and discovering favorite spots together. The experience is meant to feel like exploring Brooklyn alongside locals — visiting the places we genuinely love and sharing the food culture that makes the neighborhood so special.
Through the food and the stories behind the businesses we visit, we try to highlight the incredible mix of cultures that make Brooklyn such a unique and vibrant place.
We truly appreciate your feedback and will keep it in mind as we continue refining the experience. Thank you again for joining us.

A great walking food tour. Nicholas and Yoh are a wonderful chef couple. We took the tour on a very cold day and windy in Brooklyn. We were able to take shelter in most stops. The couple has great relationships with all the stops on the tour. You will get a meal worth of food. We had a great experience and would recommend to all.

Such a beautiful insight into the local history and family run businesses in the Brooklyn community, some who have been there over many years and still running today. A unique New York experience you won’t find anywhere else. Amazing chef guide and amazing people you meet along the tour is extra special - an experience you won’t forget !
