Thank you so much!
I received a message the night before on WhatsApp, saying it was cancelled because of the weather I'm waiting for my refund
Response from Host, Oct 2025
The tour was cancelled due to a forecast of a major storm. The next day a refund was initiated with Viator. Once a refund is initiated then it is in the hands of the credit card company - and they say that it usually takes about 1 to 3 weeks
It was a beautiful day, which always helps, and Max was a very informative and entertaining guide. Lovely views of downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn port & Liberty Island. Excellent photogenic views of both the Brooklyn & Manhattan bridges from the riverside in DUMBO. The walk is mostly flat with a slight upward gradient at the start and a downward gradient and some steps down from the bridge at the end.

Excellent tour which combined this area of modern New York with its fascinating past. The infusion of Rap history and food samples were a wonderful addition! Excellent and passionate guide !

Book this tour with max if you want to see the bridge and the Dumbo area. The enthusiasm just oozes from him for the bridge and his knowledge is second to none. Would definitely recommend him.
Our guide was 100% amazing until he wasn’t. He was very knowledgeable and a very good story teller. But when we stopped as a group to take pictures of the Manhattan Bridge, he last half the group behind, never to be seen again. Our group was less than 10 people. All of us took pictures right where he told us to and didn’t stray off. After about 10 minutes, 5 of us were left on our own. One of the 5 tried to text him but received no response. We had to find our own way back.

Thank you very much for attending the tour. Upon investigating this feedback, we acknowledge that the Tour Guide messed up. Upon consulting with this customer, we issued a 50% refund as a consolation for what occurred.
We had a great time with Nick, he was an awesome storyteller and his pacing was awesome. We had also never been to Dumbo so that area was new for us. We will be back!
Jay was both informative and entertaining. The pace was easy and the distance traveled very reasonable. We enjoyed our tour and would recommend it to others.
The guide was very informative and fun to tour with. I would definitely recommend this tour to a friend.
Our tour guide D spoke loud and clear it’s noisy and crowded in certain parts of the tour, he shared great stories of the past with photos from his iPad he walked at a comfortable pace and pointed out the highlights of the bridge and surrounding area. Bottom line we are very happy with the tour and thankful for his time.
This tour was wonderful, our guide guy Mr. Edwards has an Amazon knowledge of things, spots and histories that make confortable and a safe tour between all the streets of Brooklyn. Definitely the best experience with a NY Tour. Hope to take it soon!
Our tour guide Derrick was superb! He provided detailed description of the buildings in New York and he was excellent. We saw many great locations that many wouldn’t get to see if they came by themselves and we even took better photos of the bridge.
Excellent guide was very informative! Great experience! After the tour our guide walked with us to find a real bodega for an out of this world deli experience and fabulous sandwich! He guided us to the subway and it was so easy and quick to get back to Times Square!
Felt bad for our guide. It was raining the whole time. We had to cut out early bc of the weather but enjoyed it
Our guide was fantastic, a lot of history about NYC, the bridge, Brooklyn and Dumbo. He showed us historical photos and references which enhanced and brought to life the area’s history. He showed us the best places to take photos. Provided time to ask questions and observe key locations. The weather was fantastic which is key to an enjoyable tour. Highly recommen.
Too much talking that too nothing interesting. I love history and I prefer taking a tour all the time so have experienced many tours. But I just couldn't stand this one. I listened to him for the first few minutes and then parted my way. There is so much to see that whatever he was saying wasn't adding any value.

Hello, our guide was very knowledgeable but unfortunately his voice was to low to hear, we had a difficult time understanding him.

I joined a guided tour of the Brooklyn Bridge led by Max, and it was a fantastic experience! We had a group of 15 people on a beautiful sunny Sunday. Max’s extensive knowledge of geography and history was both educational and engaging, giving us a deeper understanding of the bridge’s significance and New York’s fascinating background. I learned so much about Emily Roebling and her vital role in the bridge’s success. Max was especially passionate about Emily’s dedication and the significance of her contributions, which added a unique perspective. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for an informative and memorable visit to one of NYC’s most iconic landmarks!
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting.
Historical facts were given in addition to being shown where the best views were.
Fantastic and informative walk that took us over the famous bridge and to all the best places for photos - Ben was a great guide!!
The History told while walking the Bridge made it more interesting than simply just taking a stroll over the bridge. I really enjoyed the 2nd part of the tour - The Dumbo. When you thought you've seen all that you can see from the bridge, the Dumbo seals it off with even more breathtaking and calming views.
Lovely walk and some great views for taking wonderful photos. Just disappointed that the bridge walk took one and a half hours and therefore we did not spend as much time as stated in Dumbo. Also a bit disappointed that I had to move my booking from Tuesday to Thursday.
Wonderful walking tour of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The walk is delightful with multiple scenic views for awesome picturesque scenes.
I booked this tour with my family including kids age 13 and 8. The weather was perfect to walk on the iconic bridge and to soak in the views of NYC skyline. It was a good 90 min walk from the starting to the end point with stops in between to learn history and importance of the Brooklyn bridge. Our guide John was knowledgeable and fun!
