Group is meeting with our tour guide in front of The Drexel Restaurant. Our guide will be standing in front 15 minutes before the tour start. If you need help finding parking please arrive earlier.

The tour finishes at our last food stop. If you need to get back to the starting you can walk, going north to Espanola Way and head west. The walk takes about 5 minutes. On 12th street and Washington Avenue, is about 3 block from the beginning point.

Faruk was very friendly and provided some interesting information about the city. The food was very tasty as well, especially the coffee and ice cream. I would recommend this to new visitors and would suggest doing it early in your visit to get a nice lay of the area.

The guide was very informative about the history of the area, and we enjoyed his conversation very much. The food choices, however, were too heavy with sandwiches at back to back stops. Perhaps small plate samples of local cuisine would have been more enjoyable, and could have contributed more to the history and culture of the neighborhood.

Great tour guy. Very knowledgeable, easy to talk to. Had a fantastic time. Highly recommended. We would never be able to see or experience the food and the places the same way by ourselves.

I arrived at the meeting point ten minutes early. I booked the tou that morning. Unfortunately after waiting almost 30 minutes, with no guide showing up, we were information that the tour was not going ahead as the guide had not received notification of our same day bookings. Refund received

Farouq gave us an impressive stream of area history & stories of food & people & buildings & fun antecdotes. Each food stop was a “favorite” including the empanadas & rolled ice cream w mango boba. Fell in love w Miami Beach thanks to this outstanding tour!

Had a great time on Faruk's tour. He's incredibly knowledgeable, tells great stories, and the food was excellent. He even made sure there were vegetarian options available for me at each restaurant. We had so much fun, would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Our tour guide, Farouk, was so amazing! My sister and I were the only ones on the tour so we had a private tour in essence. We had a wonderful conversation and Farouk was so knowledgeable about the history and knew the shop keeper/restaurant owner. He was stopped couple of times by people he knew so you could tell he was a local who lived there. We really enjoyed our time and would highly recommend! Thank you for a great time!!

Fabulous tour. Our tour guide was great - so knowledgeable. The food was really good and way more than I could eat, which is unusual for food tours, usually it's just little bites. The information about the art deco buildings made it historical and very interesting. Great combination! I highly recommend it.

The food was delicious. I've never had Cuban food and it was really great tasting. The smells were intoxicating. I loved the pastry and the sandwiches we tasted. My favorites was the sandwich at our first stop made with some type of pork. Then of course the last stop at the ice cream shop! The burst of the balls were amazing!
Our tour guide Faruk was a wealth on knowledge and humor. He kept things moving at a great pace and allowed us to take pictures but he took the best photo of me holding up the tunnel between the two hotels! Great photo op!! He knew the city very well and shared the history splendidly!!

A really Great way to experience South Miami with our adult kids!! The Architecture & food tour with Farouk was very fun. He gave us a wonderful glimpse of the architectural history of South beach Miami, taking us through several unique hotels, happening areas, and local food joints. He hooked us up with great Vegetarian options, including empanadas, rice/ beans & plantains, baguette sandwiches & awesome Cuban coffee & pastry and topped it off with the freshest made ice cream! Overall, a fun evening spent with family & our guide!!

A great walking tour with excellent food sampling. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Miami and South Beach and had some great stories. He explained the origins of the food, several of which were originally from foreign locales, but were modified by local Miami influences. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Informative guide, loved learning about the history of Miami, the art deco architecture, the history of a few iconic structures, and sampling foods of the area.. One thing I might suggest is when stopping for extended times for talking to have some options for sitting.

Jennifer at South Beach is such a fantastic human! She’s so fun and knowledgeable and has great taste. We learned historical facts about the history of Miami through the entire 1900’s, the architecture and the food. 10/10 would definitely do this again and always with Jennifer!
