ALSO please check traffic advisory on Internet for any traffic delays.
- Tour continues in rain or shine (except for Hurricanes Watches or Warnings). In the event of rain, we keep you indoors most of the time. Be sure to carry an umbrella or rain poncho to walk in between buildings. Statistically, rain showers do not last more than 20 minutes.

This tour was a highlight of our short stay in Miami! Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to learn about a cultural and historical side of Miami. James was an excellent tour guide with a great sense of humor. We also appreciated that there were moments where we could sit in the lobbies of the hotels and take in the design and history.

Tour guide did not show up for private tour. We arrived at meeting place at 12:30 for 1 pm your. We waited until 1:15. No tour guide. We messaged, no response. We called Viator who advised a refund would be given. Not received yet but they did say it could take 72 hours.

While situations like this are rare, we recognize the inconvenience it caused during your time in Miami. Many of our guests who join this experience regularly share how much they enjoy exploring the unique architecture, local history, and character of South Beach with our guides, which makes it even more important to us that every tour runs smoothly.
Regarding the refund, Viator has already initiated the process, and as advised, it can take up to 72 hours for the transaction to be completed depending on your payment provider. If you have not seen the refund after that timeframe, we recommend reaching out to them again so they can provide an update.
We would still love the opportunity to welcome you back on another day and provide the experience this tour is known for. If your plans bring you back to Miami or any of our other locations, you’re warmly invited to join us again.

Our guide told us to meet them at a places that was closed on the day of our tour. We were told to look for someone with an orange umbrella and there was no umbrella. We booked a private tour (paying extra for it) yet when we wanted to go inside a gift shop to grab some postcards with Art Deco buildings on them, the guide told us no -- sheesh!

Great tour. Very knowledgeable tour guide - James. Lots of great information on the history of Miami Beach. We were able to go inside many of the lobby of the old hotels which often you don’t get to do on walking tours. Walking pace was not too fast so good for all ages. Flat easy terrain. Well worth doing this tour early in your stay.

An excellent way to explore the district and find out more about the history of the area. Particularly enjoyed being taken into the buildings and having things pointed out that you would not otherwise know about or notice. Our guide was friendly, informative and interesting.
