My tour never got off the ground. Even after I talked to someone from Banana Joe tours and agreed to the new pick up location. When I arrived at the pickup location the parking lot was closed. I waited by the street from 8:00 until 8:45 for an 8:14 pickup time. The ride never showed up. It cost me $50 for ubers to go nowhere! I will not be using Viator again!

That doesn’t line up with how we operate, so we need to look at this properly.
Please help us reconstruct what actually happened so we can verify it internally:
* Which tour and date are you referring to?
* What was the exact pickup location you were given (address or name)?
* Who did you speak with regarding the change, and when?
* Do you still have the message or confirmation with the updated pickup details?
If a pickup location was officially changed, there is always a confirmed meeting point that is accessible — we don’t send guests to closed or restricted areas. Also, our drivers don’t skip confirmed pickups without documentation (call logs, dispatch notes, etc.), so if something went wrong here, we want to identify exactly where the breakdown occurred.
Once we have your details, we’ll cross-check driver logs, communication history, and dispatch timing. If there was an error on our side, we’ll address it directly.
Looking forward to your clarification so we can resolve this properly.

We only had a short time in Miami so did the Everglades and city tour combo in one day. It was a long day but it was fantastic. Our guide Christian was awesome! He gave us so much information. Lots of laughs and we feel like we really got to see a lot of Miami. The Everglade trip was wonderful as well. A really good way to fit in both in the one day. Very comfortable & clean transportation!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Booked months in advance and so excited only for a no show/no contact by the tour. Tried calling and VM full, and emailed with no response. Truly truly disappointing when this was our first time to Miami and really looking forward to the experience and flew here with an extra day before our cruise to sightsee.
We received an email confirmation the day before of an 8am pickup time, then another hour later of an 8:23 pickup time. Just to be careful, we were waiting before 8am and waited until 9:35 and still no show, no contact.
Completely unprofessional of Banana Joe Tours and a wasted day spent trying to contact. Not a good start to a trip spent months planning. :(

We owe you an apology — this one's on us. 🙈 Our driver got caught in a traffic jam of epic proportions 🚗🚗🚗 and unfortunately couldn’t make it to your tour in time. We did our best to offer you a new time slot ⏰, but totally understand you weren’t able to make that work.
We’re really sorry for the inconvenience — we hate letting people down (it keeps us up at night 🥲). If there's anything we can do to make it up to you, just let us know. We promise: no more surprise traffic jams... or at least a Plan B that doesn’t involve Google Maps betraying us again. 🗺️💔

The tour of Miami was excellent and very informative with really great personal attention from our guide. This is a really good tour to get a grasp of what Miami is about. The only disappointing part was hanging around at the Everglades Park for couple of hours. Be aware that they prioritise Cruise Ship tours.

Really enjoyable day spent on the full day Everglades and Miami city tour. Very timely pickup and drop off at hotel. Really comfortable small group tour. Both tour guides Dominik (Miami city tour) and Christian ( Everglades) were wonderful and very informative. Highlight of the day was the tour of Star Island with the celebrity mansions. Highly recommended this tour especially if you have limited days in Miami.

When we initially booked we contacted the operator and they said they picked up where we were staying. But when we reached out prior to our activity the operator said they didn’t pick up where we were staying so we had to drive and pay to park at a park. That was a bummer. Once on the tour Dominik was fantastic and full of knowledge. We really enjoyed the time with him!

We had a great tour to Everglades. The airboat trip could be longer and quicker, but we saw a lot of alligators and other animals.
Unfortunately we could not enjoy the full experience. If you book Everglades plus Miami tour it’s a full day trip. We got 1pm as the finishing time. So we need to shorten it. Our guide was great and we create a speedy trip and he dropped us off at the next appointment we had.

Great guides, Christian and the German dude (sorry forgot your name). Both really fun. Saw lots of Miami, we stopped many times, and saw many places, the guides pointed out good places to eat, even a donut place whose donuts were so yummy. Highly recommended!!!

Christopher our driver was phenomenal! He went above and beyond! Was fantastic about teaching us as well as keeping us entertained! He also catered to everyone's wants and needs!
The negative....
I decided to do a full day city tour.
Christopher picked me up from Miami cruise port. I was very grateful for that as I didn't have any communication with this company after making my purchase and being out to sea for 6 days with no signal.
After departing the boat I had a message waiting for me about picking me up from port. I messaged him immediately when I got off the boat. And he picked me up within 15 minutes!
I booked this trip because I didn't fly home until 5pm. I felt being in a smaller private van to explore the everglades and the city of Miami while having my luggage stored was the best way to kill some time without towing heavy bags around for the day.
The worst part of the trip was the Everglades experience.
I lived in south Florida for 10 years. So I've been on numerous trips to the Everglades.
We were taken to Everglades Holiday Tours.
Upon arrival we waited an hour maybe longer before our boat was available to board.
Once on the boat the seating was incredibly uncomfortable.
The boat wasn't opened up top so you can only see out of the sides. I disliked that because I was seated in the middle. I couldn't see the birds our guide was pointing out. Also their is a huge speaker that is so incredibly loud we all plugged our ears when our guide came on to talk.
Gorgeous day in the Everglades however we saw a few birds and one gator.
When you exit the boat we were told to wait 30 more minutes to watch a show with some gators. At this point I just wanted to leave. This place is a tourist trap and I was over it.
We sat through a 30 minute show that was excruciating. Not funny, not very educational, terrible seats once again.
I was grateful to Load back on to the van.
So now this is where the city tour should start. It's almost 1pm by this time. We started at 9am.
But before we can start the city tour we have to drop off 3 people at two separate locations. So that's another hour, before we get to begin our city tour...........
After we dropped off the passengers Christopher set out to give us a quick short and sweet tour.
At 4pm I said I needed to get to the airport. I was not dropped off at the airport. I called a LYFT ride and Christopher waited with me until I was safely in the LYFT and heading to airport.
All in all Christopher was wonderful. My suggestion is find a new business to take your guest for the Everglades tour. That was horrible.
