This was a truly magical sunset sail. It far surpassed our expectations. The weather was overcast, so sunset was pretty underwhelming, but the threat of rain meant other companies cancelled, so we were one of only two boats out. Even though it was the end of whale season (early April) we had two whales come within 20 feet of the boat and put on a show! We also had dolphins swimming alongside the boat!
Our crew of Nick, Evan, and Cpt. Patrick were so nice and attentive. Happy to chat with you about island life or leave you space to quietly enjoy the views. We definitely felt taken care of. Cocktails were super tasty, they came around with trays of cocktails twice during the sail, but were always happy to make you something special if you went downstairs to the bar. Rum and Vodka cocktails, plus wine, beer and champagne. They had sodas and juice for the kids (about 1/3 of our tour was under 21), and were happy to mix up a mocktail if you were interested.
Food was pretty minimal, a first round of snacks (cheese and vegetables, chips and salsa, pot stickers), and then more substantial appetizers later. Don’t count on this being dinner, but my wife loved the vegan potstickers and the caprese skewers were delicious. I suppose you could really fill up if you wanted, but I tried to pace myself between the open bar and the movement of the boat.
Really could not have been happier with our evening. With the friendly, charming staff and the wildlife we were able to see, it sure seemed like the rest of the group had a great time too. Lots of gasps, smiles and laughter all evening. I couldn’t recommend the experience more and would love to do it again if we’re back in Maui!

Worth Every penny!! the crew totally makes the experience but being out on the water and seeing Whales and wildlife and a beautiful sunset is totally worth it!!
Highly suggest if you’re in Maui doing this!

Very nice cruise. Great crew, Mario, Rebecca and Owen and Taylor, the photographer. Only thing missing was places to sit. Should have more top deck seats. Beautiful day …. Highly recommend

Enjoyable sunset cruise! Saw several whales and a turtle at the end. The snacks were pretty good and crew was very friendly. Parking at Outrigger was great with the validation. They dropped us at Whalers Village which is just a quick walk back to the Outrigger. We changed our cruise from Wed to Mon due to expected weather and process was easy.

We did a tour last year through a different company. This one was just ok. The boat had no cup holders upstairs to set anything down. Food was mediocre. Crew was fine.

This company went out of the way to make sure we were able to take our wonderful cruise even though we had to change locations for departure and return. The owner called me directly.
The boat itself was super clean and had plenty of seats. The cocktails were strong and the bartender was happy to accommodate customizations. Snackies were pretty good. The crew was awesome and went out of the way to make sure everyone was happy. Saw about 5000 whales and gorgeous views. 10 out of 10.

We have been on several different boats for the sunset experience and this one topped them all! The food was excellent and abundant. Drinks were yummy. We saw lots of whale activity and a beautiful sunset. We will book again!

This was a great sail ! Its a must do when you are in Maui. This was the highlight of our trip so far. And I must say the 80's Playlist was the Best . Thank you for being a great addition to our vacation .

Great fun seeing whales and a beautiful sunset although weather was a little cloudy
Miles and Daniel were great in helping my disabled friend on and off the boat

The check in area is a little crazy at 4pm but the staff is right there and very welcoming and the directions are clear. The catamaran was a great ride and the food and drinks were plentiful. Thank you to Capt Mario and his crew for a great evening watching the whales!! Definitely a trip we would do again.

We had circumstances arise that delayed our arrival. We arrived 3 minutes late for our departure to watch the boat sail away without us. No ability to call, no option for a partial refund. Self park is $8, valet is $35. Don’t expect any assistance finding the departure location from the staff. They could not help us. It was a beautiful evening, I am sure that the sail would have been a wonderful experience. I hope future travelers will book with a different company who will have a little bit of wiggle room for imperfect travel conditions.

The crew was amazing. You can’t control the weather. But they did everything they could to make the experience amazing. Great food, drinks, music, atmosphere. You do need to get on and off the boat via the beach meaning take off your shoes and going through a little bit of water on the steps of the boat. I had pants on and they did get wet. My husband experience sea sickness and they were so kind and attentive. Brought him ginger ale and gave him their best advise to ward off the nausea. Kept checking on us until the end. Very grateful. Even so, we saw so many whales up close and in action, it was very cool.

Fantastic crew and cruise. Drinks and appetizers were delicious and free flowing. Had the opportunity to see a lot of whales including babies. A perfect way to end the day!

What a wonderful experience! From check in to goodbye the staff was so warm and friendly, made us feel safe; helping my mother on and off the boat. They curated a fun atmosphere with their positive vibes, humor, music, yummy food and drinks- and with energetic expertise- we sailed smoothly for a gorgeous sunset and our fabulous captain, she navigated us to breaching whales and flapping tails! What a wonderful way to spend Christmas Eve! Thank you! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really fun, great crew. Very attentive and kept the energy lively. We’ve booked this for our 10th anniversary and had such a great time. The sunset from the water was absolutely amazing.
