This was probably the best guided tour experience we have had in the last 15 years. Vasco, our guide and driver, was outstanding. His knowledge of the country and key sites was fantastic. More importantly, we all knew he made us his priority. He made great suggestions to enhance the trip and was fun to be around. We highly recommend Vasco and the company (Premier Tours) for any trips one day or more in and around the Lisbon area.

Viator communication with us was professional from the time we booked our tour the whole way through. The day before our tour Viator reconfirmed our booking and gave us the driver/guide name, time, place and vehicle information for pick up. Rod arrived early and was fantastic and really worked hard to ensure our entire day was memorable and he even added another venue he thought we would enjoy while in Portugal. He knew the area’s history and was a great storyteller. We were very pleased with our tour and would highly recommend Viator for private tours.

This was an excellent tour—truly one of our favorites during our time in Europe! Jose was absolutely amazing. He was warm, knowledgeable, and made the entire day feel special and personal. His passion for Portugal really came through, and by the end of the tour, I completely fell in love with the country. Fátima was peaceful and moving, and Sintra was like stepping into a fairytale. The balance of history, culture, and beautiful scenery made for a perfect day. Everything was well-paced and comfortable, and Jose made sure we had a memorable experience from start to finish. Our driver was very efficient. Much of this was on our own as it should be. HOwever, when we were with the driver he was informative and helpful. He even took one of our group to the pharmacy to help him out. Nice pilgrimage to Fatima and a nice suggestion for lunch. The Pena Palace was closed for wildfires and he felt bad about it but they didn't email us either and we had bought tickets directly. All in all a win of a day!

Our guide Vasco was extraordinary, going out of his way to provide us with a customized experience! After spending time listening to us (which is all too rare these days), he used his knowledge to provide us with a "show and tell" that was exciting and informative. He went out of his way to accommodate the two members of our party who had limited ability to walk long distances. This tour was among the best we have experienced in our European travels! We had Rod as our tour guide and we enjoyed his banter and knowledge. He had a great sense of humor and was flexible with how we wanted to experience the excursions. Both stops were good and we felt like we had adequate time at both, although Fatima would have taken way longer had we tried to light a candle.
