Maria and our driver Miguel made the day special. They tailored the tour to our needs as my husband walks a little slower. They were very accommodating. They also made a great suggestion for a pastry in the morning and the story behind the pastry, and Miguel suggested a place for a quick lunch. Center was like Disneyland for adults and Maria was very knowledgeable about the history about the town the castles everything. We definitely got our moneys worth.

I had no idea what a great tour this would actually be! Bernardo did a terrific job, very friendly and knowledgeable. Pena palace, moor castle, and regaleira were all amazing!

This tour was worth every single penny. Simone was an amazing tour guide who gave us all the history on Sintra. She was efficient on what we needed to see and made sure we made the most of our tour. We had a wonderful day visiting Pena Palace, Sintra and the surrounding area. Simone was our tour guide and she was amazing. We had a such a fine time with her. She is very knowledgable and was very interactive with the whole group. By the end of the tour, it was like we were hanging out with a family member. She did such a great job. A little more about the tour, the areas visited were all amazing. A lot to see and a lot of history of Portugal to be learned. I would highly recommend this tour and if your lucky getting Simone as your guide.

Bernardo was terrific. We really enjoyed our private tour in Sintra. Expect to walk approximately 6 miles over the course of the day, much of it uphill. It is totally worth it to see amazing sights.

We had a great time on our private Sintra tour. Our guide Susana was simply terrific. She was enthusiastic and energetic as she tirelessly took us around to multiple attractions all day. She is highly knowledgeable and gave us an excellent history lesson on Portugal generally as well as on Pena Palace and Moorish Castle as we toured these monuments. She was punctual and patient and flexible and helpful throughout. She managed to take us around the crowds and pointed us to the right places to have an efficient lunch or break. The tour was tiring as it requires a lot of walking on hilly terrain but it was very much worth it. We highly recommend it.

We got to see in one day three completely different sites, each one unique and beautiful. We had a wonderful guide, Bernardo was very knowledgeable and helpful. He went with us to each one of the attractions and shared a lot of information about history of the places. Since the line to get into the well at Regaliar was long, he waited in line while we got to explore the grounds.

Joao did a great tour of Sintra. He picked up up promptly on-time and drove a nice Mercedes van that was very comfortable. He was very knowledgeable on the history of Lisbon, Sintra and Portugal. This tour is an absolute must if u r going to Lisbon. And u must see it w Paulo! He was so knowledgeable and passionate about Sintra. This was one of the best tours we had Joao was great. We visit the Pena palace first so we could avoid the crowds. After that we went to the moorish castle, to the town of Sintra and to regaleira. Joao was extremely informative and pleasant to be around . He wax also flexible. We had a great time and we saw everything wanted to see

We had a wonderful day tour outside of Lisbon, visiting Sintra and driving down the coast road back to Lisbon. Guide was wonderful and really knew the area and sites we were seeing. Lunch was on our own in Sintra, but the tour company made reservations for us at a local restaurant where we had very good tapas. Highly recommend.

Susanna was the best and made this day a hit for the whole family. We saw so much in one day, and without this tour it would have been impossible to get our whole group to each and every part of this trip. The private van was comfortable and we were picked right in front of our Airbnb. Susanna already had our tickets for the palace and she helped us get tickets for the castle as soon as we arrived, so we spent next to zero time in lines! Our group of seven would have struggled to figure out the trains and connections to all the sights so the value for this tour was amazing for us. Everyone in our group had a different highlight of the day, but we all agreed Susanna was the shining star!

Susana, a pure professional with VanGo Tourism, made our trip to Sintra extraordinary. She knew all the history and shared it with enthusiasm. She knew exactly how to navigate area with ease -- not an easy feat! This is the only way to go - not only did we see the most important monuments and enjoy the pastries, Susana tailored our trip on the fly. Recently, Susana was our full day guide in Sintra, Portugal. She was amazing! She arrived on time with a comfortable SUV, was completely organized, led us to all the sights we wanted to see and knew everything about the places we visited. Her knowledge was outstanding. She made sure we avoided long lines as much as possible, drove us as close to the sights as possible, gave us information on where to eat, and generally made sure we had an amazing day.
