A very enjoyable morning with Pedro who communicated with me the preceding evening, was 5 minutes early to arrive, and a very good driver in hectic traffic. Pedro shared a lot of interesting information about the places we visited and we enjoyed chatting with him along the way. He also took pics for us :) The palace and grounds were an interesting story of the Freemasons that we weren’t expecting! It was a nice way to spend a half day. If you’ve never been to Sintra (we had) you might consider a full day tour so you have more time to explore there. This excursion was perfect for us.

Pedro was a fantastic tour guide. He was so nice, friendly, knowledgeable and you could see the love and care he gave during the tour! We were on a time restraint and he filled all our requirements. I would definitely love to take a tour with him again!

This half day trip to Sintra was perfect. Marco made the trip for us! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and took care of everything! Although we only had tickets to the Quinta da Regaleira, Marco showed us the little town and gave us info on other popular attractions as well!

Was very interesting and very beautiful story in the history of Barry interesting there is walking and steps. There are a lot of people at the activity, but it did not seem to be too crowded.

What an awesome experience! The history of the place was incredible and, David was an absolutely amazing tour director. He was so knowledgeable, personable, and funny and did an incredible job keeping us on track. After the tour, he gave us some awesome recommendations for other places to see and do, and even recommendations for food, which we followed (he was so right - the cod was some of the best we’ve eaten). We would highly recommend this tour and ask for David as your guide.

The trip and the place are beautiful. Our tour guide David....boring. Getting there, he had the radio in the background. It wasn't loud, but he wasn't wearing a microphone and would not speak loudly, so the ones in the back could not hear a word he was saying. It was 6 of us. He was only speaking to the one person that sat in the front with him. Once in Sintra, he kept walking without checking how far the others were. Again, only talking to the one person that was walking with him. Forget the other 5...I asked him one question and he gave me a random answer that I knew wasn't correct (I later googled it). He was robotic. Just taking us from point A to B. He should be a taxi driver, not a tour guide.

Fantastic outing - Davide gave us a great history of the place as well as some really interesting information on the way there and back. Cannot recommend the location enough either - Sintra town was beautiful and it was nice having a bit of time to walk around before heading to the palace but the palace itself was unlike anything I’d seen before, stunning. Made all the better by the convenience of being picked up and dropped off at your accommodation, and able to park up in a convenient spot in Sintra.

Our guide was nice and polite but his delivery of the historical material was lacking. On a couple of occasions we were “on our own” to explore the location(s). Sintra was very crowded and our pace was pretty slow. It was; however, a very beautiful place.

Quinta da Regaleira is a very interesting place. The gardens are gorgeous. the inverted well was the star of the show and well worth the visit. The town of Sintra is also a gem. Our guide, Anna was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience.

The well was exceptional. It's a masterpiece. Sintra itself is a masterpiece. This is a cant miss. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the whole area. We did a 4 hrs tour and it felt quicker because of all the sites we went to. It started off Foggy when we left Lisbon but cleared up when we got Sintra. We would go back for sure, so much to see.

The Quinta Regaleira is gorgeous and fascinating history including the well and initiation into the Masons.
It is essential to go with a guide to bear the history and associated stories!!!!

The so-called private tour of a Regaleira never made it to a Regaleira! By the time our guide parked his car, and we walked all the way across Sintra to a Regaleira, we discovered that there were no more tickets for the 3:30 tour, and that the next tour wasn't until 5 pm, too late for me and my son. So the whole purpose of the trip was defeated. The guide, Diogo, took us to see the Moorish Castle instead, which as better than nothing. But this was clearly a failure of organization on the part of Viator if not also of the guide. If this is any indication of how well or poorly Viator is organized and prepared, then I would NOT recommend using thie company!!

Recently Regaleira changed the way they operate, that along with their site being down the previous Day and also a late booking caused that inconvenient.
Everything in order now and running normal Moorish Castle and its amazing landscapes saved the Day😁 ...

Luis was amazing! Super knowledgeable, very professional but friendly, and patient. He even took pictures of us on his phone and sent them via WhatsApp immediately. He was a super driver and made sure we were able to see, hear about, and take pictures at all of the important historical locations. Highly recommend!!!!
