This was a great way to explore a place that we would not have found on our own. Chad found us at the pick up point on a very rainy day and shared his knowledge and experience with us as we headed into the woods together. It was easy, relaxing, and more like visiting a with a knowledgeable friend than a guided tour. I would recommend the experience.

Short hike with big beauty

Tim_A, Aug 2025
This is a moderate difficulty trail with multiple steps up and down. Very lush vegetation, babbling stream and small waterfalls along the way. Chad was very informative….a wealth of detailed info about the history, culture, and flora & fauna. We got to see forest, salmon stream, and ocean view all in less than 3 miles.

Great way to spend a rainy day in port

This was our favorite tour in Alaska! What a beautiful hike. Teagan led our family in a beautiful hike while sharing information about the forest. We had a great time despite the rain, which is very common in the area. Highly recommended tour!

Old Growth forest trek, historical perspective and current status of logging and its impact

Janet_D, Aug 2024
Teague was the perfect guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, thoughtful, helpful. We did a hike through the old growth area, and Teague gave us a good sense of history and of current ecological concerns. This was probably our best tour ( and we did lots!)

Wonderful Rainforest hike!

Our cruise ship docked at berth 4 which was just a short walk to meet Teague for transportation. Very easy to meet up. It was a beautiful day for a hike! Teague was very knowledgeable and added to the experience with information about the local flora and fauna. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Teague! Highly recommend this hike with Teague!

This was a great experience and hike through an old growth forest. We loved seeing the creek and ocean views. Teague was an excellent guide and gave us a memorable family experience. We did this hike with adults and young teens and we all had a great time. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended

Our guide/company owner Teague was great! Knowledgeable about the area and hit the right balance of conversation, commentary, making sure people were OK without hovering, etc. Quite the character and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Even my husband who's not into hiking had fun. Pickup was on time and communicated ahead of time to clarify the pickup point. The hike was magical as described. Loved the nooks and crannies and natural art that gave a vibe of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Great tour!
