Daily departure times vary based on weather and aurora conditions. Our aurora team will reach out to you between 3:00pm - 5:00pm at the phone number provided with your reservation. They will give you all the details for the night at that time. Please let us know if you have a flight or other activity planned during that time.

A very good performance of aurora show, so spectacular. Good photos showing both the person and the lights. The guide's prediction tools (various sources and good interpretation) are very professional.

Northern Lights AT LAST!

We received a phone call at 3PM on the date of the excursion from Jacob that our best chance to see lights was that very night. Shaggy/Mike picked us up at 9PM along with another couple from another hotel. He had a camera and tripod and knew the best settings and places to pull off the road. We had luck the very first time as early as 9:40PM! The lights for us weren't easy to see with the naked eye but when he worked his magic on the camera, there they were! We went to several other spots "chasing" (hint: look for stars!) and found other locations with better views. In the end, we were dropped off at our hotel at 3AM and a link with all of our photos was sent within 2 days. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of this tour operator! It checked off one of my priority bucket list items and I would book this again!

Getting the most out of the experience

Steve was very knowledgeable and quite willing to share that knowledge. He took great care to make sure that everyone got the most out of the experience. While other tour groups sharing the lodge with us left at 2am, Steve stayed until 4am so that we could have the greatest chance to see the northern lights. He even stopped along the road going home to catch just a minute of the 'dancing lights.' As a solo attendee, Steve made sure that I was not left out and understood all that was going on.

Que noite!!! Começamos sem muitas esperanças por causa da meteorologia, mas o Mike foi extremamente preciso, agradável e paciente e acabamos, de acordo com sua previsão precisa, na cabana da Greatland Adventures com várias apresentações exuberantes da "Lady A". Apesar da pouca probabilidade de ver a Aurora, ainda assim a Greatland Adventures não cancelou o tour e acabou nos fornecendo um tour "private" com uma aula completa pelo Mike de como acessar os dados e analisa-los para ter uma previsão da aurora. Obrigado Mike!
