Dogs were amazing! If you like or love dogs you have to do this one. The guide, Ash, was an awesome human being and clearly cared for the dogs well- this was definitely a bucket list experience. I’d highly recommend it for anyone coming to the area. Ash was an amazing dog sled guide and Tanner was a fantastic tour guide!

It was incredible riding the sled through the forest. The dogs were all super sweet and it was great meeting them before we set off. George picked us up at the hotel and told us lots of interesting facts about Fairbanks on the way to the sledding point, he was very nice and knowledgable. Ash and Daniel were the ones who took us out on the sleds and they were both very personable and made it an amazing experience! Highly recommend, the kids were 6 and 7 years old and they loved it!

George the driver that took us to the dog sledding is amazing. Very personable, patient, and a team player. The team, the dogs and the ride are an unforgettable experience. The connection between the dogs and the humans is palpable. If folks would learn from them, our children would live in a better world. This world would be incredible. George took the time to video the group leaving and the groups returning. Then invited all of us to come and get our video from him. Thanks to George, we have memories to share with our loved ones and be able to revisit for years to come. Thank you George. Thank you Daniel, Robert and the lead guy for teaching us about your world, caring for those beautiful dogs and making sure we had a safe and wonderful experience. Daniel, thanks for guiding our sled and being an awesome person. We appreciated our humor if though we can see your job is not easy.

This was an absolutely awesome experience! The place we were driven through was nice and we were really excited to meet and play with the dogs and puppies. Ash is awesome and you could tell he really loved the dogs and mushing. We had a really great time!

Very well-organized tour.
The driver was punctual, very friendly, sociable, and knowledgeable.
The duration of the tour was just right amount.
The dogs were extremely cute, friendly and welcoming.
But the best part of the tour was the breath-taking sceneries that my wife and I experienced during the ride.
The musher was very nice and accommodating, took multiple pictures for us as well.
Hot drinks we had afterwards were also very soothing.
Very nice conversation with the manager as well.
Overall, very satisfied and would highly recommend to anyone.

The experience was awesome, a little ruffer than experienced but exciting nonetheless. Guide was informative and corky telling us about a fee of his own experiences here in Alaska. Beautiful scenery, we stopped for pictures on the sled. Great run they even sent us a video coming in. Great experience.

The entire experience was AMAZING...
Starting with Ryan as our guide, he was the best. He told us all about what to expect and with his shared experiences on the drive out, we were so excited to be participating in this excursion. We arrived to a friendly welcome. Getting to meet all the dogs and see their different personalities was an added plus as we are all Dog-Moms. The Mushers knew how to handle the dogs and make our experience a dream come true.

Perfect from start to finish! Joe picked us up - he is a character and knows so much about the area. I was grateful not to drive in the snow/icy conditions. The mushers were friendly and let us spend time loving on the dogs while they prepared our team. The ride was a thrill! Beautiful terrain and a short photo break made for a perfect excursion. Highly recommend!

This was an epic adventure and well worth it. We got a 6 mile mushing experience going up and down with incredibly happy and athletic dogs. The mushers had great relationships with their dogs that was fun to see. We got to watch the teams put the dogs into position and it was amazing to see ALL the dogs barking “pick me, pick me.” I will remember the trip fondly for a long time.

Amazing experience!! Everyone was nice and provided a great experience. All the dogs are friendly and obviously love what they do. The ride lasted awhile going into wooded areas and more open fields. The day we went it was 10 degrees Fahrenheit which I guess was a “warmer” day. The dogs pull the sled faster than I thought. Hot coffee/hot chocolate after the ride was greatly appreciated.

The scenery while dog sledding was beautiful. Our musher was fun to talk to and knew a lot about dog sledding. We were able to warm up in a yurt before and after the tour.

This dog sled ride was absolutely amazing!! Truly!! The dogs loved it and had a great time, as did we. An hour ride, through trails, is perfect. I think our guides, Peggy and Tyler love this stuff as much as the dogs do and they were awesome. Ryan also couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I loved this tour!

Was hugely different doing this in daylight as opposed to the last we did at night. The ride was a good 6 miles in length and it was a lot of fun.

Been going back and forth about how to rate this experience.
PROS: Transportation to/from your hotel is included. Our driver was fantastic, she snapped some photos of our family before the sledding began and even took us for a quick stop to the pipeline on our way back to our hotel. If I was rating this experience on just her, this would easily be 5 stars. The rest of the staff was mostly great. I also appreciated the hot cocoa/tea and cookies after the ride.
CONS: Besides the confirmation email we received from Viator, we did not receive any communication from this tour company regarding our hotel pick up time. So we were going off our booking that said "departure at 2pm". On the day of, we were shocked to receive a call from the driver at 12:45 that she is downstairs in the lobby waiting for us! Obviously we weren't even close to being ready because we thought pick up would be at 2pm. Our kids were napping (we were out til 4am the previous night for the auroras), so we had to wake them up and get them dressed, grab our things and run downstairs. We were very frustrated because of course we ended up forgetting some items. On top of this, when we arrived at the dog sledding destination, one of the staff berated us for making them run late. He informed us they will shorten the time for our family and the other group we rode with, because we are now making them late for the group that would be showing up next after us. If I could have gotten a refund then, I would have!
Later, after talking with other hotel guests about their dog sledding experience, they mentioned they were able to switch seats with others in the sled, so everyone gets to experience being in the front, 2nd row and standing to try mushing. They also mentioned getting many photo opportunities with the sled and dogs. We did not get to experience this. Also, every other tour company we booked with when we were in Fairbanks gave us a call, email, text, voicemail to confirm our excursion and confirm when they were picking us up. This was the only one that didn't, then they faulted us for not being ready when they showed up.
So while we had fun during the actual dog sledding experience, we didn't completely enjoy it. First, because we were rushed to leave, we didn't bring all of our cold weather items (hand/foot warmers, scarf, etc) and second, getting chewed out upon arrival for something that was not our fault definitely left us wishing we booked elsewhere.

If it is a last-minute booking, we will call if we were provided a phone number or will respond back with an email or booking platform. Since we do not know what booking this was, we are not sure what the circumstances were at the time, but we apologize if we could not reach you. We never want our guests to feel rushed.

The dogs were so excited and friendly! The tour guides were almost as friendly as the dogs. This is a great experience you can tell everyone working here really care about the animals and want you to have the most pleasant experience possible. It was 6 degrees when we took the tour and it was so fun we would do it in negative 30!

Very nice staffs!!! Warm tent with hot coco and tea! The view on the way was like a winter wonderland. Amazing! But remember to keep yourself warm. especially the toes and knees and lower back!

Our dog sledding adventure was amazing. After a short ride to the location, we were able to meet the dogs in the yard. They were very happy to meet us since they knew this meant they were going for a run. Bob prepared the sleigh and then we were off. We took a ride out into the snowy woods. Bob explained about the dogs training and their daily routine. We was a great tour. Highly recommend!

This is the most excited part of the trip (except Aurora). Alaska huskies are so cute and the guide was very knowledgeable. He told us a lot about the huskies and local cultures. The view was amazing along the way of the sledding. Highly recommend and it’s the one if you must-see.

This was by far the Best tour on our trip.... All the staff/ crew were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Geared us up and then the fun started to happen.. From meeting and playing with the dogs, to watching the dogs get ready and harnessed up to take a run. Sven was awesome and teaching us about the dogs working, their positions and so much more. We would do it again on another trip. This is a 10 Star experience!

Driver to and from destination was friendly and informative, it was hard to hear him at times since his head set did not seem to be working, there was no volume when he spoke. The highlight was the dog sledding, Jeff our guide was amazing, he made our trip an amazing experience.
