Fun experience
Had the opportunity to go up to Pike’s Peak via a cog rail train. The views were absolutely stunning and makes you realize the beauty of our country. Our tour guide, Gable, was fun and informative. He was very accommodating to our needs as people with a disability. I would definitely recommend this tour. Be sure to bring oxygen! Thank you. JMH

Easy paced hike with a great view at the pinnacle.
Lauren is a great tour leader, who is willing to adjust the pace of the hike to accommodate those of us from out pf town who may not be acclimated to the high altitudes in the rockies. All in all, it was a great hike with spectacular views at the peak.

Breathtaking!
The Rockies are just so breathtaking, and we were blessed with perfect weather. I really enjoyed this tour. Thank you to Robert who stopped by Moxie’s Bread Co and The Miracle Church. The former was delicious, and the latter was so meaningful. The Stanley Hotel later in the day was a little packed and hosts its own tours for those interested in “The Shining.”
The trip to Rocky Mountain National Park was just spectacular. My one suggestion would be to add either a couple more picture viewpoints or a short guided hike. The only walking I did was around Sprague Lake. I generally like a little more activity on a day trip, but I knew this going in.
Be warned, National Parks attendance is increased 300% lately, so be prepared for a few lines.

Great tour wonderful day
First trip to Denver and visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. The park was beautiful and Alex our guide for the day was outstanding. He explained so much as we traveled to the park, through the park and then lunch at Estes Park. We saw elk, and moose and the views were spectacular. The tour was so much more interesting having a guide to explain so much and not having to drive ourselves through the mountains. Highly recommend this tour.

Great day trip
I had an incredible experience with Explorer Tours right out of Denver! The tour took us to Pikes Peak, where the mountain views—snow-capped and breathtaking—were absolutely unforgettable. Then, we explored the Garden of the Gods, which gave us a totally different but equally stunning landscape—those iconic orange rock formations were surreal. It felt like two awe-inspiring worlds in one day. And a big shoutout to Robert, our guide—he made the whole trip even better! If you’re visiting Denver, this tour is a must!

Jed as the guide on the Rocky Mtn National Park Tour is a must do activity.
Jed did an awesome job explaining all the ecological features of the area. He knows everything about the vegetation, wildlife, and geological formations of the area. His passion came across. I’d highly recommend. Going after Memorial Day would have gotten us higher on the mountain, but we still got over 10K feet. Saw a ton of wildlife throughout the day. His Dad jokes were on point too.

Peaceful retreat to the mountains
Absolutely fantastic tour. So many beautiful views, and time to walk and take in the clear air. Adam was a great driver and very informative about flora & fauna. We watched a couple setting up a new climbing route at Juniper Pass. Fish were jumping at the lake! So calm and majestic.

Res Rocks and White Snow
This trip by Ilimo is a must do. It is a good combination of pace and rest, movement and grandeur, in short, a very well curated trip with adequate time for every included spot. Alex was a very knowledgeable guide and kept on informing us of every stop on the trip. The first stop was at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The museum. is excellent and the Amphitheatre is a natural treasure which is a treat to see. Alex informed us about the mining townships en route to Brekenbridge after this. We had a quiet lazy lunch at Brekenbridge along with a walk on the main historic street, which was lovely. Then we went for a short walk into the forest and then up into the White River National Park, the Continental divide and the Loveland Pass before descending into Denver. We saw some elks on the way. This was an amazing trip and I am happy to recommend it....

I live in Denver and...
I live in Denver and decided to take a tour to see the foliage. I learned great information about Colorado and had a wonderful time. Our guide Jed was extremely knowledgeable and the trip ran smoothly as planned (except minor traffic on the way home - which is expected on the peak weekend).

FUN Ziplining
So much fun! The guides are Great! They are safety first, but they make it fun! There is only 1 short hike, to the top. After that it, it is smooth sailing. You can bring your own refillable bottle, or you can buy one of their bottles. Wear sunscreen, ChapStick and I would recommend some sunglasses.

Highly Recommend!
It was the perfect tour for a short weekend in Denver. We were able to experience the nature that surrounds Denver. The 4 hour tour was our morning, and the perfect amount of time to be back in Denver for the afternoon.
The scenery, the mountains, the red rocks - it was all STUNNING!
Highly Recommend! And Brian, our guide, was so kind and funny!
