Itinerary
Make your way to a centrally located meeting point, in time to meet up with your small group (or just your guide, if you've selected the private option).
Taste a classic Chicago deep-dish pizza, the source of many rivalries with New York. Learn what makes a Chicago deep-dish so special. You'll also visit a historic spot to taste the Italian beef sandwich, where you'll hear about the origins of this classic sandwich and its founding right here in Chicago. Enjoy hot dogs and other treats along the way.
As you go, you'll wander through the Loop—Chicago's Downtown area—and will see many of the city's iconic architectural landmarks, as well as its famous skyscrapers. Continue nibbling and tasting as you go.
Finally, end the tour in Millennium Park, where you can admire the beloved Cloud Gate sculpture and stay as long as you'd like.

Spend a few hours learning about Chicago history, architecture and food! We walked around the Loop, filled our stomachs with sweet and savory, and enjoyed learning about the city. Our tour guide, Mike, was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Would definitely recommend this tour!

There’s a lot of food. Our tour took 3.5 hours, but we were stuffed by the end! But no beverages are included (at the basic rate) so consider bringing your own with you.

Michael was our tour guide and he was excellent. He even helped us find parking on the street .The tour starts with a short visit inside the library which was the meeting spot.
He had lots of stories to tell, and he was very entertaining. He was also very knowledgeable about Chicago. I expected sample servings of all the food, but we actually had an entire slice of pizza, a half of a beef sandwich, an entire hotdog, an entire churro, an entire brownie, and a small sample bag of popcorn. The tour took exactly 3 hours as advertised. I recommend this tour and hopefully you have Michael as your tour guide.

We really enjoyed this particular tour, Lance was great. He was soo knowledgeable about the foods the history of the restaurants. We had more than our share of food. Portion were large and all of the establishments we visited were fun and friendly. Could ask for a better food or tour. Kudos to Lance for his dedication and commitment. Our guide Danny was excellent. He had so much information to share with the group about Chicago in general, several famous buildings, the restaurants we visited and the food we ate. At the beginning, he had all of our names memorized and kept good track of us throughout the tour. The food was a great representation of famous Chicago treats and I learned so much from him.

Eliot was awesome! She showed up some beautiful buildings and chatted about history while we did our food tour. She was absolutely hilarious and had lots of cool facts about downtown. The food was excellent and very healthy portions so you get a good bit of food. Definitely recommend

Come hungry!! Wonderful food and great choices!! We enjoyed all the history about Chicago’s different foods and learning a bit about the building they were houses in. Light walking around the loop area and a great kid of mains and sweets. Danny was a wonderful guide and was very knowledgeable! He kept the tour on a great schedule and had our food ready at each stop so no time was wasted. There was a bit more time to savour the food at the mains which was wonderful - highly recommend!!

Make sure you are hungry when you arrive because there is a ton of food! The whole experience was 5 star. Lots of history mixed with great cuisine. Eliot was easy going and made the tour fun!
