Excellent Chinatown food tour with York (our guide)!

We did the Chinatown culture and food tour, and it was an amazing experience! York was our guide, and he was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and gave us a history lesson throughout our tour. York is of Chinese descent and was able to share personal stories that made the experience a lot more relatable. He was an amazing guide (and he’s a very accomplished person, both professionally and personally) with many relevant stories about the culture, Chinatown, and Chicago. The food was amazing. We were SO full and had a really fun time. I recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get out of the middle of the city and see something new, and I highly recommend York as your guide! (side note: I’m from the Chicago area, but my friends were from out of town. I’ve been to Chinatown before, but I feel like it was my first time because of the knowledge from York on the history and exposure to new food options.)

Best Tour of my trip

Nick is an amazing tour guide. You can tell he loves his job and the donuts. Everything was great I would say maybe add less Churro or old fashioned type donuts. I think a bit more of the stuff you can’t find at Dunkin would put it over the top.. Again just my opinion. ;) But Nick deserves a raise he really had good humor and very great stories and advice about the city.

Great food, great guide, great biking

This was an awesome tour. Matt was our guide and it was his first solo tour and he did a great job. Go hungry! This is not “tastes” of food, it is a full on meal by the end of the day. The biking was easy, you are on some city streets, Matt had everything under control and we felt safe the whole time. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was a great way to see the city, have some tasty bites, and get a little light cardio in for the day. I’ve been to Chicago many times and hardly ever leave the loop so it was great to see the neighborhoods. Wyatt was a great tour guide and had fun facts plus music trivia, as well as the info about the food we were eating. For a four hour guided tour, bike rental, and what amounted to a full four course lunch, this was reasonably priced.

More than just food, great stories & info

Along with the food, you get stories and info about the food, and great general info about Chicago. More than enough food to be a long lunch. Lots of walking but plenty to see and stories enjoy along the way so it goes by easily. End of tour is different location than starting point (20 min walk away), so plan accordingly when considering parking or your next activity. We had a great time.

Family Bike Ride

AJ was an amazing tour guide. Good instructions before the ride for safety and tips. Almost too much food to eat!! We had a great time seeing different areas of the shoreline part of the city. Our youngest was 12 and our oldest was 57, and we all were able to comfortably complete the tour.
