Didn't make it need a refund.was stuck in traffic.Got there 2mins after and refused services and couldn't get any refund or help.

For what the experience costs the service first of all was terrible worst service ever they did not have our table ready and we did not even get our dinners till after the fire works and on top of if it was cold just not good !

Boarding the Odyssey was very friendly and simple and easy there was maybe only 25% of capacity on the sailing that we went on. The food was average at best and the serving portions were small, which was good I thought. But the music was not really fun or conducive to wanting to go on the dance floor. There was no DJ there was just a soundtrack. The best part was that we were able to go up to the captains area where he drives the ship. They didn’t have any specialty drinks in the bartender did not know how to do anything other than poor glasses of wine and beer. The service was good because everything was premade, but our food was cold. Going up to see the fireworks with breathtaking, beautiful and an experience. That is why I gave it a three and nothing less.

Once on the ship and seated we sat for almost 30 minutes and had no been approached by a single waitress or person. Finally I got up and told the manager who apologized and sent another staff member over. He did comp our drinks but the whole vibe was just off for us. The food was sub par to say the least. Definitely not worth $500 for a couple! We could have gone yo Applebees and received rhe same food. The dessert station was basically out of costco, my chicken had no char and was bland, the rolls were dry and tasted old. Definately do not recommend. Dont waste your money!

We have bought the tickets 2 months in advance, but later on I have to make an international travel during that time, we are not able to make it. Two weeks before the Cruise I have asked them to reschedule the trip but they asked about $300 charge to change it for 3 persons, a bit ridiculous! Finally we have not able to attend cruise dinner even we paid it. Seems that the company only cares about money not customers.

Fireworks were fun and the boat was nice, but the food was pretty mediocre and only two of the three courses were plated with dessert being on a buffet (advertised as a plated three course meal). For the money you are better off eating dinner before and going on a cruise later.

Great way to see the city and fireworks. The food met expectations. Only critique was the windows could be cleaned more regularly, as there were spiders on the exterior window (none on inside)

The staff were wonderful and Paul W., our waiter, was awesome. He and the waitress Alaycia, gave me and my date all that we could have imagined. The whole night with the, food, fireworks and the dancing, everything was perfect! Thank you! Also, the touch at the end of the cruise, getting cookies, just over the top enjoyable.

There were 8 of us and I tested positive for COVID and I called and was told that I had tested positive for Covid and that they would only be six of us since two of us tested positive for Covid. They said they would contact me via email and here I’m still waiting on that email. When I call them directly at the Shipp, they said that they would refund me, but [Viator] hasn’t even had the courtesy to return my messages

My most memorable experience was planning this dinner cruise for my anniversary getting my boarding tickets and being told that we could not board. We arrived at 7 pm which is on the tickets. When we first arrived at the boat they had just closed the gates. Spoke with the crew member who stated we could not board and he was laughing at us. Spoke with captain of ship before they left and he also stated we could not board. To top it off Viator first said they would refund me money I paid and later sent me an email saying they would not don’t do business with either company Viator or Dynasty ship out of Chicago. Would not recommend.

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. Even though we had been to Chicago many times we thoroughly enjoyed it! We were so happy we choose the Odyssey because the weather turned grey and rainy and we still loved it. We had wonderful service and the food was excellent! The music was fun for all ages.

I’ve never been on a yacht, so I was looking forward to the experience. To begin when I made our reservation, I notified them that my boyfriend and I are celebrating our birthdays. When we got to our seats, I saw that some tables had happy birthday cards, but not ours. My boyfriend ordered a steak and I ordered the gnocchi, our food was not good. The Dj was simply playing tracks, not necessarily being an actual Dj. The only thing we truly enjoyed were the fireworks! It was very chilly, so next time I know to wear something warmer, but other than that for my first experience, I didn’t enjoy it much and spent a lot on these tickets.

I don't know why companies insist on treating solo travellers as second-class citizens. Just for once, on a scenic cruise FOR WHICH I'VE PAID JUST AS MUCH AS ANYONE ELSE, it would be nice to be put by a window instead of one in the middle of the floor, on the route the servers walk and the ladies go on the way to the restroom. Just once. Someone traveling solo probably has more need of a view than a couple or a party who are having conversations. My server was lovely (very helpful and personable) and the food was OK, but I don't think I should have had to get up to go and get my own drink when it had been ordered a half hour ago and I'd reminded the server once that I was still waiting. I found it a little irritating to be asked by three separate people if I'd enjoyed my dinner, when on each occasion I told the person that I was still waiting for the dessert (which eventually arrived after the coffee did, so the coffee was cold by the time I got to it). And if you ask for your bill so that you can settle it before the fireworks, and it doesn't come before the fireworks, and you go out to watch the fireworks, you should not then be expected to settle the bill until the fireworks are over and you've come back inside. As it was, I missed a good chunk of the show because I was instead paying my bill.
I understand quite a lot of this was probably brought about because of the WiFi problems they were experiencing. Nevertheless, for the price paid, I'd expect a better experience.

It was our 5th year anniversary I was so excited to go on this dinner cruise unfortunately it became the worst night ever. We were the last to get our 1st dish. So we had missed the fireworks because we were eating while everyone was enjoying fireworks. They totally forgot about us, which is weird because they knew we were there on our Anniversary. It’s like it was done intentionally. Worst experience ever on a day I will never forget. Everyone was so nice. Besides this incident.

My girlfriend and I thought we would try something new out in the city that neither of us had done before. It seemed that the price was a little steep for this night out, but I am all about life experiences, and this would be a new one. When we entered the boat, we were seated at a table for two located about 10ft from the dance floor and 2ft from where they brought everyone's trayed meals out to distribute. The meal was ok, but was inline with the vibe of the evening. It had a strong feeling like we were at a wedding reception with dance floor, limited meal options, additional cost for even a pop or alcoholic beverage (9.00 for a truly/14.00 for a rum and diet) and a DJ playing hits from the 70's to early 2000's. The volume on the boat was so loud from people talking and shouting that I might as well have been trying to hold a conversation at a Texas Roadhouse. Thankfully the evening was saved with the opportunity to go on the observation deck where it was much quieter and had a pleasantly surprising band (The 3 J's). This life experience however, was anoverall bust. I wouldn't encourage anyone to do it if you want to plan a romantic or nice evening out with a special someone, as I know that there are plenty of other places and things to do in the city that cost much less ($500.00 - not including drinks and gratuity) that will leave you thinking that you would and should recommend it to a friend.
