The museum is one of the "must" visits in Chicago with kids. The permanent exhibits were great. We went early morning so it wasn't crowded at all 👍

There is so much to see and explore. Get rest before coming and go see the things you’re interested in first. There is so much to see and experience that it can’t be done in a single day.
My kids have very different tastes and we split up. There was something of intense interest for both.

Wow-what an incredible museum! I spent hours exploring! Highly recommend if you’re interested in earth’s history! So much to discover about plants, animals, and people. SUE is extraordinary! The ticket was super easy to purchase and I walked right in upon arrival. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Even though sometimes it is annoying to have to pay extra for some installations, it is worth it here at the Field. The extra admission (I am sure) helps with the installation and creation of the "extras". We saw "After the Dinosaurs" and the detail, stories, timeline and everything made it a wonderful experience for the family. We used to bring the kids here all the time (from Wisconsin) when they were younger, and now that they are teens they are still fascinated by it all!

A must do! So so much to see. You can spend hours here if you wanted! I have always wanted to see the Tsavo Lions and can now mark that off of my bucket list. My husband and I really enjoyed all of the skeletons of the different animals- it really makes you see the animal in a different way. And wow, so much we didn't know.

Very nice experience, not to be missed if you’re in Chicago. The exhibits are beautiful and so carefully prepared that they appear real. You need more than one day if you want to see everything and learn from every experience

Loved the live reptile exhibit and the underground exhibit. Visiting SUE is always a +. We visited mid week the last week of August so the museum was less crowded.

It was a really hot humid day and we spent the bulk of the day here in an air condition environment and was amazed by this museum. It was well run and covered so many different things. I loved the dinosaur exhibits the best. It was great seeing Sue the T.Rex dinosaur parts found in 1978. There were able to reconstruct Sue completely which is the only T.Rex dinosaur that has all the parts and she has her own room there at the museum. This is a great place for everyone young and old. Children will get a lot out of this museum.
