Captain D is the absolute...

mary_c, Oct 2026

Captain D is the absolute BEST!!! We had the most fun and he was so great! He was very knowledgeable about the area but also made it entertaining! 1000% recommend!!!

Well worth your time.

Can't say enough good things about this. Captain Jody rocks. Very knowledgeable of the area, and his personable approach to the kids was amazing. We anticipated seeing a few dolphins but was amazed at how many we actually saw. From casting a net and letting the grandkids (ages 3, 2, and 1) actually hold the fish, to seeing huge stingrays at the dock, and actually seeing John B's house from the Netflix series, "Outer Banks" made for a really cool adventure. Dolphins? Tons of them. And they're swimming right up next to your boat. This needs to be a "must do" on your list!

Thanks so much for the awesome review!!! I really do enjoy teaching the kids about the marsh. Please come back!

Amazing sunset and dolphins

Jamie_S, Jul 2026

We had a fantastic time on Captain D’s Sunset Dolphin Cruise! Captain D was friendly, entertaining, and did an awesome job finding dolphins while sharing interesting facts along the way. The highlight of the trip was getting to see a baby dolphin swimming with its pod—it was such a special moment and made the whole experience even more memorable. Between the dolphins and the beautiful sunset, it was the perfect evening on the water. If you’re looking for a laid-back, enjoyable dolphin cruise with a captain who clearly loves what he does, I would absolutely recommend this trip. We’d do it again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful experience

Captain Jody was an absolute delight and really went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional experience. We will definitely be using his services again when in Charleston. Thanks Jody for the great adventure!
