Give yourself at least 2 days to do the Freedom Trail tours and Musuems otherwise you get history overload. Ruckus at South Meeting House is great to view for all ages. Please ask guide questions we got great history information and easy cheap parking for a family member. 250 Pass worth the money along the trail. Lots of walking. We skipped the 2 mile to Bunker Hill Monument.

The places are not nearly as close to each other as you claim. You give the impression this is a group tour.
The 2 state houses are basically nothing.

Good morning, Cindy, this is Ted Clark, owner of the small business that oversees this special five-site pass program for our local museums, in celebration of America's 250th anniversary this year.
I apologize for any confusion, but feel your critiques are both unfair and misleading for other visitors. The two museums that are farthest from each other—King's Chapel and Old North Church—are precisely 0.8 miles apart. The three other participating museums are located in between these sites.
The Boston 250 Pass is clearly described as a pass, NOT a guided tour. Passholders receive discounted admission to five of Boston's most popular historic sites, including the Paul Revere House and Old State House. The Massachusetts State House on Boston Common is NOT included, since admission to that building is free. Both state houses are iconic Boston landmarks dating back to 1713 and 1798, respectively; it's disheartening to hear you proclaim that they're "basically nothing."
The 250 Pass was a great way to see the 5 historical sites. Simple to use, just show your pass at each site to get in. We liked the added feature that allowed us to use it when our schedule allowed (within the 7 days). We had a very rainy afternoon so decided to get out of the rain and came back the next day to finish the 2 sites we had missed the next day. Great flexibility!
