Overview
There’s estimated to be a colony of around 1.5-million Mexican free-tailed bats that migrate to Austin each year, and this tour takes you to a great spot for viewing them. Save time walking between sites, and cover more ground with a Segway tour. This means, as well as the bats, there’s time to see other interesting sights and landmarks such as Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge, the Austin Rocks boutique, the Willie Nelson Statue, and Congress Avenue Bridge.

Our guide was so friendly and informative about the area and she took us to the coolest places downtown. She gave great instruction on how to operate the segways and also the perfect place to sit for the bats. Definitely recommend.

I had an incredible experience buzzing around on the Segway with the tour guide, Francisco! After an introduction on how to ride and drive we were off! Francisco was knowledgeable of the area, shared a bunch of cool facts as we made stops on our way to see the bats and was just so much fun! Unfortunately, the bats didn't swarm while we were there, but we still got to see them and the overall experience was amazing. Thank you so much Francisco for a great tour!!

The Bats don't always cooperate but we're so glad you had a wonderful time regardless. Wind, loud music, bright lights (a nearby festival) thunderstorms/rain can sometimes affect their flight...but we're glad it didn't damper your overall experience.

My daughter and I decided to do this tour. I’ve never been on a Segway and worried it could be out of my comfort level. Kelsey was so patient and kind in helping me get the hang of it! He was always so positive and helped me build my confidence! This is simply a MUST do your with Kelsey!! 5 stars to him!

Loved seeing the bats. I was glad someone in a kayak had a red light otherwise we may not have seen them. Also did not know what the highlights were because there wasn’t a way to hear the leader

Beautiful views of the skyline at dusk!! Weather was fantastic and the tour guide was great! This was our first time on a Segway and Kelsie made us feel very safe! He was very attentive, informative, and extremely patient! Excellent teacher too!

Fun family adventure! Kelsie was a great guide. We toured the city and learned quite a bit. We decided to do this tour at the beginning of our vacation so we would have ideas of where to go. We are looking forward to some local shopping!

We really had a lot of fun on the Segway tour. Kelsey did a fabulous joy teaching us how to ride a Segway. He’s knowledge about Austin was impressive and watching the bats flight was exciting. I highly recommend Bat Flight Segway experience for the whole family.
