Fantastic authentic and informative food tour

Incredible walking food tour. Peter was an excellent and informative guide. As a Greek American familiar with Greek cuisine Peter taught me many things I didn’t know about Greek culture and culinary history. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and Peter’s passion and knowledge of all aspects of Greek cuisine. The food was amazing. Peter’s guidance was even better! We had to bring the souvlaki home for dinner as we were stuffed by the end of the tour!

This trip was awesome....

This trip was awesome. The bus was comfortable and our guide Vivian was awesome. She was a great story teller and was very invested in the history we were experiencing. It was clear she loves Athens and archeology and wanted to share that with the group. The itinerary listed for the event was spot on. On the way to Cape Sunion, they broke up the trip nicely with stops along the way. There was food to purchase at the beach. They don’t include the price of tickets to the Temple of Poseidon in this experience because there are discounts offered to children, students and EU passport holders. We left at 4pm and returned back at 10:15pm. Communication before the pickup was perfect. They changed our meeting location slightly so that everyone could be picked up closer together. They shared this info via email and text with a lot of advanced notice. The new location was easy to find and easier for them to pick us up.

Our tour Guide Louis G. was on time, friendly, very courteous, knowledgeable and thoughtful. He provided us with water and a snack. The vehicle was clean and he gave us wonderful history about Greece. The fact that he is a retired History teacher is definitely a plus. Louis is an asset to your company. I would definitely refer him to all of my traveling family and friends.

Taking a guided tour of the Acropolis and acropolis museum made the experience so much more fantastic. Our guide Visilis was incredibly knowledgeable and as adults and children aged 12,11 and 8 we found the experience incredibly interesting. I would highly recommend the experience.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and sites. I wish we had more time at the big sites like Acropolis and Agora. At end the of the tour per the description we could choose the museum or a guided walk through a nice neighborhood, but the tour guide offered the museum or for us to return early. A bit disappointed on this.

A great way to finish a vacation!

They picked us up from our hotel in a timely manner in a new, clean and comfy 16 passenger Mercedes van. Driver was professional and quick! The staff of the catamaran was super! Engaging and helpful throughout the whole day. There was breakfast/snack, drinks and a nice lunch buffet! The captain was great finding calmer waters for us on a windy day. We really enjoyed the cruise to see some smaller, less commercialized Greek islands in a day. A great way to finish our European vacation ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Culture, history, and some exercise! :)

We had a wonderful time on the walking tour of the Acropolis and the museum. The Acropolis is the most famous attraction in Athens. It was our first time and we gained a lot of knowledge about Athens and Greek history. Our tour guide Frosso was so knowledgeable and passionate about her culture. The hike up to the acropolis wasn’t bad in our opinion but could be difficult for some. Make sure to bring water and use the restroom before you go up. Also, you make want to bring a hat as there isn’t much shade. Would definitely recommend to those who are visiting Athens for the first time and enjoy history.

We learned alot on our tour with Michael G. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the Acropolis and Athens, plus added some funny stories to make the tour even more enjoyable. He did a great job answering questions, taking pictures for us, and allowing us time to explore or read exhibits. We purchased the admission WITH tickets to both the Acropolis AND the museum-highly recommend the same! Also, we were one of the 1st groups (left the meeting point ~8am) and with the heat the end of July, we were very happy we picked the early time!

Fun and unique way to enjoy Athen’s islands!

A fun way to experience Athens’s nearby islands by boat! We had planned for this trip on our twin girls’ birthday, and they loved it so much! We all had fun discovering the islands, taking a dip at each stop, and even jumping from the boat into the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea!! Don’t miss this experience!! Plus, the food you will have on board is So delicious and a lovely way to eat lunch aboard a beautiful ship!

An exceptional tour with Garifallia!!!

This was one of the best guided tours we had during our time in Greece, largely because of our wonderful guide, Garifallia. She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared an amazing amount of detail about the Acropolis, its monuments, and the museum, but she presented everything in such an engaging and entertaining way that the tour never felt overwhelming. Her background in archaeology and history really came through. Her explanations felt thoughtful and insightful rather than like a rehearsed script, and she helped us notice details and understand stories that we certainly would have missed on our own. She was also funny, personable, highly professional, and always happy to answer our questions. Garifallia truly brought the history of the Acropolis to life and made the entire experience much more meaningful and memorable. I cannot recommend this tour and especially Garifallia highly enough!!!!

Wonderful morning sailing, swimming and eating

Our catamaran cruise with Sailing Athens was the highlight of our trip! Captain Christos and the entire crew were outstanding—friendly, professional, and made everyone feel welcome from start to finish.The swimming stops were beautiful, with crystal-clear water and plenty of time to enjoy each one. The food on board was incredible—honestly one of the best meals we had in Greece, even better than many of the restaurants we tried in the Plaka! Our boys, Ethan and Alex, are still talking about this experience. If you're visiting Athens, don't miss this cruise. It was worth every penny and created memories we'll never forget.
