What are people saying about Athens

The Best Tour of Athens
Dionysus is a superb tour guide who is passionate about the history of his city and of Greece. His passion shows in everything he does. He and his company were able to effectively deal with some last minute medical challenges we had, making sure we had a wonderful day. In particular, Dionysus’ explanations associated with the Presidential Guard and the Changing of the Guard Ceremony were one of a kind. He and his company are the best!

Acropolis and Museum
Great experience! Natasha was terrific! She was super knowledgable and you could tell she cared passionately for her native Athens. Expect huge crowds. Challenging but not difficult hike to top. Just take your time. Bathrooms do not exist at the top. It is best to go before you get your tickets. You will have a chance again once you come down. Include the Acropolis museum in your tour. It is well worth it. The museum ticket also includes the excavation site under the museum, which was super fascinating.

Our guide was so...
Our guide was so incredibly informed, she had a wonderful sense of humor and she was so cute and sweet! Definitely recommend having a guide because everything is in ruins (duh) or written in Greek. We got a lot of info we never would’ve gotten without her.

A Must
We loved our experience on the food tour! Our guide was amazing! It ended up being just us and one other couple and we had a wonderful time! I love seeing all the neat/unique spots that I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. And, learning about all the different foods and taking a stroll through the fish and meat market.

Ancient history is the headliner here, and Athens tours focus on archaeological treasures from the Acropolis in the city’s heart to outlying sites like the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion, the Meteora monasteries, and the ruins of Delphi and Corinth. Visitors looking to experience modern Athens can nibble their way through the city on a food tour, walk or cycle in trendy districts like Plaka and Monastiraki with an insider guide, and experience the local nightlife on a bar crawl. The capital city is also the perfect jumping-off spot for day cruises and island hopping in the Saronic Gulf.
