What are people saying about Milos

We were wowed!
We saw some of the best views of our entire trip on this boat excursion! Because it was late May, the water was still "refreshing" (read: cold), but gosh, was it pretty to look at. My husband took full advantage of the swimming stops. I was less brave, but I did take a short dip for the street cred. Alex and Captain Chris were awesome! Very knowledgeable and accommodating, even while navigating the sea.

Come for the Cliffs. Stay Because There Is Literally No Other Option
This tour was exactly as advertised. The problem is that I apparently did not read the advertisement thoroughly enough. You leave around 8:00 a.m. and return around 7:00 p.m. Water, soda, snacks, and lunch were provided. For reasons known only to my optimistic imagination, I was expecting cold beer and cocktails. Instead, there was warm white wine being poured from recycled water bottles, which somehow felt very Greek. The beaches were absolutely stunning—remote, untouched, dramatic cliffs, crystal-clear water. Truly gorgeous. Also… they were REMOTE remote. As in: • No beach bar. • No bathrooms. • No umbrellas. • No popsicles. • No ice cream. • No little old Greek lady selling watermelon. • No possibility of dramatically calling a cab and abandoning ship. Just you, nature, and your life choices. What I somehow failed to appreciate before booking is that “three beach stops” also means SEVEN HOURS on a small rocking sailboat to get between them. Full sun. Full send. Full practically sitting on another tourist’s lap for seven hours. I personally threw up three times. This is not the tour’s fault. This is a “Tia should have recognized that she enjoys ARRIVING by boat much more than EXISTING on one for seven consecutive hours” problem. The crew was genuinely kind, helpful, and worked incredibly hard all day. The scenery was spectacular, and if you love sailing, you’ll probably think this is paradise. But if someone asked me whether I’d rather spend seven hours on a boat or three… I’ve learned that three is my magic number of hours. By hour four, I wanted an ice cream. By hour five, I wanted a dock. By hour six, I would’ve accepted a Coast Guard rescue. By hour seven, I was negotiating directly with Poseidon. Five stars for the scenery and the crew. One star for my own decision-making.

Do yourself a favor and book it already
Amazing trip. Captain and crew were a delight: knowledgeable of the sites we stopped at as well as what we passed by en route to them. Hilarious as well - cracking jokes as we snorkeled and making the whole experience feel welcoming and comfortable. The amount of time was perfect and the snacks and drinks were the perfect accompaniment to a day of dipping in the ocean and seeing some amazing sites.

Must-do in Milos
This boat tour was our absolute favorite day of our trip!!! No competition!!! Our guide Fay and skipper Sylvan were perfect. Super friendly and knowledgeable. They made everyone feel welcome and like family. The views at Kleftiko bay and Sykia were breathtakingly beautiful. Cameras cannot fully capture the beauty. Fay took pictures with the go pro for us. She prepared delicious snacks and an excellent meal. This is a must-do activity in Milos! I feel such gratitude.

Milos tours are all about getting out on the water—and for good reason. This little-known Greek island is surrounded by the aquamarine Aegean Sea. Local experts can show you the best snorkeling spots, take you to hidden beaches along the coast, or transport you to popular sights like the white cliffs of Kleftiko. If you need a break from the water, don’t fret. Wine tastings, bike tours, and walking tours can give you a taste of all the island has to offer—while also giving your sea legs a break.
