Highly recommended tour of Athens and Rena is the best!

Wonderful way to get to know the city including the lesser known parts. Rena was a fabulous host, patient and kind as a biking guide and informative and animated as a tour guide. Her recommendation afterwards for dinner as well as the Greek yogurt with sour cherries were the perfect way to end the day. This is a great tour! FYI: Our ten year old son did not have a hard time operating an e-bike and keeping up.

The monasteries of Meteora

The Meteora experience is one not to be missed. I picked the 14 hour tour (~4 hrs transit time each way, and 6 allowance to visit the 3 monasteries). The bus ride was very comfortable with a half-way stop, and lunch before touring the monasteries. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the monasteries. Overall it was a great experience.

Amazing Day at Delphi and Arachova

The tour was amazing!! I loved how knowledgeable our guide was about the history and stories of not only Delphi and Arachova, but also the cities and villages on the way to Delphi from Athens such as the runner from Marathon and the Sphinx of Thebes. She gave us wonderful insight on what the ancient people would do while making their pilgrimage to Delphi and how the site used to function in the ancient days. While we toured the museum, she gave us amazing insight on the relics that were on display and really brought to life on how the ancient people’s lives were around Delphi. We had also timed our departure from Arachova perfectly as we encountered that once in a lifetime summer storm while heading back to Athens. Our guide and driver did everything necessary to reassure all the passengers on board the bus and keep everyone calm and engaged. Her professionalism and the driver’s skills ensured we all returned to Athens safely. Even during the rough storm outside, she continued to tell us the history and myths of the nearby areas and kept all passengers engaged. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Central Greece, the Parnassus Mountains, and extremely friendly and hospitable locals from Arachova.

Our full-day private tour of Athens exceeded every expectation and was one of the absolute highlights of our time in Greece. While Athens itself is extraordinary, it was our driver, Aris, and our guide, Vasso, who transformed a sightseeing tour into an unforgettable experience. Aris was a phenomenal driver, navigating the busy streets of Athens with ease while making us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the day. What truly set him apart, however, was his kindness and authenticity. He shared personal stories about his life and Greece that allowed us to connect with him on a much deeper level. By the end of the tour, he felt more like a friend than a driver. Vasso was equally incredible. Her passion for Greek history, mythology, and archaeology was evident from the moment we met her. She isn’t someone who simply recites facts—she is an exceptional storyteller who brought every site to life. Standing atop the Acropolis, listening to her explain the significance of the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Propylaea, it felt as though ancient Athens had come alive around us. Her ability to weave together history, mythology, politics, and daily life made every stop fascinating. The itinerary was perfectly paced and included so many iconic locations. From the breathtaking views atop Mount Lycabettus, to walking through the Ancient Agora—the birthplace of democracy and philosophy—to witnessing the Changing of the Guard at Syntagma Square, every stop added another layer to our understanding of Athens. We also appreciated driving past landmarks like the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Academy, University, and National Library before exploring the charming streets of Plaka. Lunch in the traditional neighborhood of Koukaki was another highlight. The authentic Greek food was delicious, and the restaurant did an excellent job accommodating our dietary needs, ensuring my vegetarian husband had wonderful options without compromising the experience. If you’re considering a tour of Athens, don’t hesitate to book this one. The sites themselves are extraordinary, but having guides like Aris and Vasso—who are knowledgeable, engaging, courteous, and genuinely passionate about sharing their country—makes all the difference. They didn’t just show us Athens; they helped us understand why this city continues to shape the world thousands of years later. This tour deserves every one of its five stars.

Great time in a half day tour from Athens

Very chill place, the thermal lake was awesome good water temperature and relaxing vibe. The temple itself is beautiful with breathtaking views, very windy be ready for it. The tour guide Nikkos was his name, great company telling us all about the areas we drove through and just a great bloke to have a chat with. Would absolutely recommend the tour. And leaves you with plenty of time to explore more after the tour as well

Best Delphi Tour in Athens

It was an amazing experience. The guide Stavros was the best guide I have ever experienced. Had such calming tone and way of describing things. He was very knowledgable and thorough, and a GREAT storyteller. I and my 13 year old son were fascinated by all the stories he had to tell along the way in the bus and at the Delphi site. The tour itself was amazing. Definitely worth the visit. The bus was comfortable, the driver Vasilis was very friendly, the guide as I mentioned was the best, the Delhi site is SIMPLY MAJESTIC! To top it off, on our return, we stop at a small very beautiful city/village for our lunch. Very picturesque! Enjoyed every bit of the whole tour.

Alexandra was a great guide and the GPS audio guide available during the bus ride in multiple languages was very informative. We had plenty of time at our destination to have a meal in the cafe and spend time walking around and taking pictures of the Temple of Poseidon.

Don’t miss this excursion

We had an absolutely lovely day in Delphi. Our guide in the Van was Lilly and she was very friendly and organized. Our guide once we got to Delphi was absolutely phenomenal. We learned so many things from her and she made the day so fun. We could tell she loved what she did. We stopped at the most amazing restaurant for lunch that had an awesome view and the food was delicious. It was a great way to see a different part of Greece. That is so conveniently located near Athens. We highly recommend booking this excursion.

Great day trip!

We had an absolutely amazing time. We had Alex as our driver who was great, fun to talk to, very knowledgeable but also respectful when we got tired. What really made the day great was we ended up having it as a private trip. Really recommend this trip, all the places you go to are great. Nafplio was absolutely stunning.

Beautiful and Unique Experience!

We had a fantastic time on this day trip! The monasteries are amazing and beautiful. Our guide, Vasili, was well informed, funny and delightful. Very unique experience! I would recommend to anyone who has an extra day in Athens. We debated going to another site of ruins versus visiting Meteora and we are very satisfied with our decision to make this trip.

Tour worth every penny
