Amazing full day immersive tour!!

We had such an amazing full day experience with Aristotle yesterday! He arrived early, greeted up warmly and got us started right at the acropolis first thing in the morning! He is so incredibly knowledgeable, and not just book smart or doing research on these things- he LIVES it! Aristotle is a true local gem who knows the ins and outs of this city and its history we could literally ask him anything! I have two teenagers and a 9 year old and they had been raving about him all afternoon. It is not easy to keep teenagers and a 9 year old entertained in history lol but we really learned so much. We could have booked 7 different tours to see everything and still wouldn’t have learned as much without this tour. Worth every penny! Thank you guys for a memorable experience in a magical city!

Scenic Adventure with a great guide, Maria

This was a well worth it Adventure. Our guide, Maria was wonderful. And she speaks 5 languages which made communicating with all the guests easy for us. Even though the tour was in English. She was humorous factual, and made us really enjoy the experience even more. But the breathtaking scenery, Landscape in the monasteries were Eye opening. The frescos inside the monasteries were also breathtaking and almost undescribable. It's wonderful that the monks and the nuns let us visit their sanctuary. The bus was clean and very comfortable. We had sufficient stops for eating and bio breaks. Would highly recommend this trip with viatour and our guide, Maria.

Great views and nice change of pace from the city

Tour guide, Faye, was so knowledgeable and friendly. I loved having a few stops along the way for photos. The sunset was unreal and the Temple of Poseidon was phenomenal. I’m glad I booked the afternoon tour to get the sunset photos. Would highly recommend.

Fun and Informative tour!

Great guided tour of the Acropolis and Parthenon, led by smart, easy to understand, and communicative hosts. Everyone gets a headset and placard so the host doesn’t need to scream and you don’t have to struggle to listen. I think you’d miss out on a lot of knowledge if you just do the tour without a guide. Go for it!

This was so much more...

This was so much more than we expected. Our group was comprised of 7 and our tour guide was Peter. We had so much fun. We all thought we would get only a small sampling at several locations, but instead we experiencee a pleasurable fulfilling meal of local dishes, wine and coffee at several different locations. The food never ended. Peter also explained why we ate certain things and as well as the history of some foods and the area. This was such a great experience and we all enjoyed.

Worth it

My wife and I booked this trip after comparing other similar trips and chose this one based on the previous reviews. Previous travelers did not disappoint. The boat was excellent and in great condition. The food was some of the best in Athens so far. The crew was enjoyable and had very clear communication. The islands were very nice and the swimming spots were also excellent. Totally worth taking a day trip. Would do this again.

Hermes was incredible....

Hermes was incredible. Very knowledgeable and shared many stories and also added some humor to keep things going. Great tour of acropolis area and then museum. It was nice we ended at museum so you could stay and see things not highlighted on the tour. Also, unlike other tours I’ve done you get you’re physical ticket so you are able to access sites like the excavation museum as well

Our tour was absolutely...

Our tour was absolutely amazing and so informative!! Poly taught us so much and made sure to ask if we had any questions before moving on to the next area. Traveling with my mom scared me since walking up to the acropolis seemed intimidating but Poly made sure to go at a good pace! I think the tour was 10x better because of Poly, she’s truly amazing and you’d be lucky to get her as your guide!

Vicki (Vasiliki) was our tour guide and she was amazing! She staged our walk up to the top of the Acropolis to keep us in the shade as much as possible, and went slowly enough so that no one was having difficulty keeping up with the group. Her audio equipment worked efficiently and she had an incredible knowledge of everything!
