Guests who would like to be accompanied during their visits and receive professional historical, archaeological, or cultural interpretation may request a licensed tourist guide. After booking, Athenaos Travel & Tours will provide the available guide options and arrange the selected service on your behalf, subject to availability and an additional fee.

Elias was a wonderful tour guide and we had a lovely time! He was so knowledgeable about all of the landmarks and answered all of our questions about life in Greece. Thank you so much for a fun, informative experience, and for the great lunch recommendation!
Aggelos was very flexible and knowledgeable. We enjoyed his tour and company.
It was a free day for some of the sights so he incorporated that into our itinerary.
Our guide was very nice and informative. He was early and gave us a great tour of Athens with time at the Acropolis. It was nice to have a private tour picked up and dropped off right at our ship.
We thoroughly enjoyed our half-day driving tour of Athens!
Our guide, Petros (Peter), was fantastic! He was punctual, friendly, and very communicative. He knew all the ins and outs of driving and parking in Athens, making even stops at very crowded sites, such as the changing of the guard, a breeze.
We especially appreciated his knowledge of everything we saw, as well as the personal stories he shared about Athens and growing up there. His insights and local perspective really added to our experience and made the tour that much more enjoyable.
We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens!

I was in an accident day before so had to cancel tour last minute. I was given a refund which shows real character for a business to do that.

An absolutely fantastic tour of Athens. Peter was outstanding! He is from Athens, his English is very good, and he is very interesting. He will do as much or as little as you want at each venue. He also had some wonderful restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend this excursion!!

Very convenient catered transportation to the sites of Athens. Our guide, Kostas, was very nice and shared knowledge of the city during the drives. As for walking around, Kostas left my wife and I do our own thing and just had us call him when we were done at each site.

The driver was nice but this was not at all what was advertised and was wildly expensive for what it was. We were transported to the museum and then to an area of town for shopping and 2 other little stops. You’re better off booking a taxi yourself
One of us was sick so we were a little limited but this tour ended up being perfect. We got to spend most of our time riding in an air conditioned vehicle and choosing what we wanted to see, including when and where we wanted to stop to take pictures. The visit to the Acropolis worked out well, although we chose not to stay very long due to the heat (and minor illness), because we were able to stop and get tickets and then come back at an assigned time slot rather than wait around in the heat to get in. All in all we were very pleased with the tour and the guide.

Exceptional way to spend the afternoon seeing highlights of Athens. Vasilis was friendly, welcoming and an excellent driver. He also gave us good recommendations for places to eat and goods to try. We loved experiencing the historical sites with our friendly, knowledgeable tour guide Aggelos. 100% recommended! Elias was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating! We drove around to all of the major attractions. He allowed us plenty of time to do whatever we wanted with pictures. He took us to get a gyro which was very good. The car was spacious even with all our suitcases because we were going on a cruise after.

We had an incredible experience with our driver Aggelos. Not only did we go to all major landmarks, we also had time to do some optional spots. Our driver was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! He used to be part of the presidential guard during his service years and gave us such an incredible inside scoop on what that was like, while he took us to the changing of the guards.
