Must do to get true feeling of Mykonos

Mykonos is easy to do on your own from the cruise ship I thought. Just hop on the shuttle boat and walk around the main town and go back. But I started watching YouTube videos and realized how much I would be missing! I’m so happy I decided to go outside town and see this beautiful island. Our incredible guide, Chris, was able to schedule our stops to have fewer crowds around us (practically empty on our trip). He reached out the day before (using various means to make sure he reached you) to make sure we had detailed instructions to meet him and quickly responded to my questions. The relaxed pace of this small group tour and Chris helped make Mykonos our favorite stop of our trip.

Amazing Mykonos

We had a wonderful group tour on Friday. Our guide was a true gem. She has been a resident of the island for 35 years. We drove around most of the island and were able to see where the locals live and work and of course the areas in the hills where the resorts are, we stopped at a beach for a few minutes, and then the beautiful and vibrant downtown areas. She pointed out several of the surrounding islands and gave a description about them. Near the end of the tour, we walked through the narrow streets and saw the areas you would see on post cards and photos. It is definitely a place we hope to return to and spend more time there.

This was our first time on a catamaran and it was a fantastic experience. Francis and Malcolm were wonderful. They had great communication with us leading up to the day. On the boat they gave us a preview of the day and due to weather conditions had to modify our plans. However, it was still awesome. They provided food, drinks, towels, water gear too. They made sure we were safe getting around the boat and during windy conditions too. They took us on a cruise and we were able to anther and swim for a few hours. It was a fantastic experience!

We loved having the flexibility to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, swim, make multiple stops, use the water toys, and even play our own music. It felt completely private and personalized, and there was a perfect balance of relaxation and fun for both the adults and the kids. The captain and deckhands were fantastic — incredibly kind, attentive, accommodating, and professional. They were especially wonderful with our children, which made the experience even more enjoyable for all of us. The fresh lunch prepared for us while we were sailing was another highlight. Everything was delicious, and having a freshly prepared meal on board made the day feel truly special. This was without a doubt the highlight of our trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Possibly my favorite day in Mykonos! Excellent crew! Gorgeous views. Absolutely seamless getting to and from boat. Highly recommend booking a transfer to and from, it’s chaotic, but with transfer it’s so easy. The food alone is worth booking this excursion. Plenty of space, amazing food, great memories.

This is an excellent tour! We have traveled to Mykonos before and toured the mainland. This tour was excellent to see Delos and then to swim and relax. What I loved is you get history and fun in the sun. The tour is excellent for anyone staying on the island and cruise passengers as the meeting point is a five minute walk from the ship. The boat ride was beautiful and fun about 50 minutes to Delos. We explored Delos for an 1.5 hours. Then set sail and anchored so we can swim, snorkel, and simply relax. The lunch we got and drinks was wonderful and plenty! The crew was knowledgeable and fun. I liked have less than 12 people so it was a small and more private tour. The price was excellent as well!
