Great time and great service

It was wonderful- our driver was Harry- he waited for us in front of the hotel and greeted us, the car confort and his driving were great. Was very pleasant, knowledgeable about Athens and pointed over several great points of interest. Got us in time to the temple for the sunset and good time to visit . After he took us into a little town for a wonderful fresh fish dinner. Everything was outstanding- totally worth the time and price

Bill is truly exceptional 👏 We were so lucky to have him as our private tour guide in Athens. Not only did he share incredible knowledge about the ancient sites and history, but he also made sure we stopped at the best photo opportunities along the way — which made the whole day even more special. We asked Bill to take us to a restaurant where he would take his own family, and wow… we were beyond impressed. It was completely away from the tourist traps and the food was some of the most authentic (and delicious) we had on our entire trip. Great way to see Athens

This tour was great. Our guide, Jorge, picked us up at the cruise port. drove us all around Athens and dropped us and our bags at the hotel in the early afternoon. We added the Acropolis Museum and the Parthenon tours. A special highlight was seeing the guards at the presidential palace. Very good tour event and very helpful with our schedule.

Highly Recommend This Tour

So well organized. Our tour guide was George and he was amazing. Took time to explain everything, gave people a chance to ask questions. After the tour we wanted to stay in Plaka and he said we could stay and even said if we needed help getting back to the ship to text him and he would help us get transportation back. Highly recommend!

This was my first time booking with viator. It came recommended by our travel agent. I was nervous at first because I did not know what to expect. The driver we had named Panos was amazing. I got see to the important landmarks that I wanted to see especially the Acropolis. Our driver explained a lot about the history in Athens. He was a very nice and pleasant young man. I recommend to anyone to take this tour. I am so happy we booked this tour with Viator. I do plan on using Viator for any future tours.

Our driver Dennis was amazing. All our sites were good. We came in April and it was busy but not as crowded as it can be in later in year. Everything is great. But be aware that the restaurant would not give us each our check. We had 9 of us and one of us (me) paid whole bill and other people has to just send me money. It was not easy to do that. We asked them to break the bill up and they said no. Also brought us more appetizers than we asked for (did charge us for them) . But the food was good.

An easy paced tour of the Acropolis with a knowledgeable guide. We took the 10.00am trip, in April. There were no queues to get in, but by the time we left at 11.30 we could see that the line to get in was already long - so best to do an early trip. Quite expensive compared to a self-guided trip.

Wonderful day in Athens

Wear good walking shoes. It is a strenuous climb to the acropolis and my husband and I only made it halfway while our adult kids went all the way up. This tour lets you move at your own pace but there is a lot to see. Michael our driver was great and gave us an amazing overview of Athens. He took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch where we enjoyed authentic Greek dishes. There were 7 in our group and we all enjoyed this tour. We can't say enough about what a great guide Michael was. It was so much fun!

Lovely swim and views

We really enjoyed Lake Vouliagmeni. The weather was a bit chilly due to a storm from Africa, so the water was 19°C, but we still swam and enjoyed the experience. Our driver then took us to a lovely traditional restaurant by the coast with great food. After that, we visited the Temple of Poseidon, which was beautiful with amazing views. The driver was kind and helpful, though he didn’t provide much information, so it was more like having a driver than a guided tour.

It was very hot but the...

It was very hot but the tour company made sure we saw everything without risking a heat stroke ;-)! Pick up and drop off was directly at the cruise port and they used a brand new air conditioned mini bus. Our guide Athena was amazing!! She was super knowledgeable and accommodating. Got us everywhere bypassing the crowds, recommended an incredible restaurant for lunch and even treated us to some Greek sweets. We also really appreciated the small group size vs the gigantic cruise tours or hop on hop off buses. Felt very VIP for a really low price compared to ships.
