Fuat was very friendly and experienced guide. He was very patient with us asking many questions and taking lots of pictures. Very clear explanation and good speed on the tours. Just as an opportunity to be prefect, may be not spending too much time at the shopping places, that can be recommended to return after the tour. At least we were not very interested on purchasing much. But the tour and the guide were 1st class!!

Amazing Food tour with Selen

This was a great food tour lasted 51/2 hours with Selen. Selen was an incredible guide, she was warm kind and very humurous.. She lead us experteky through side streets , spice stalls at the spice markets, and tucked away amazing eateries which we would have never found,. We ate such a variety of food it was a rich cultural experience on food culture and history of Istanbul. Mussels, pickle juice, baklave, kebaps to mention such a dew delights. Very nice group aswell. Great tour out of the ordinary a must do in Istanbul

What a wonderful way to experience Istanbul

Three day tour will give you a great introduction to this massive city and the richness it has to offer. Make sure you register for a trip with optional private transportation between sites. Ozan (Ozzie) our guide couldn’t have done a better job guiding us through the complexity of the city; from restaurants to historical sites and which museum to spend time at with all the details about each place that we visited. He was very knowledgeable and approachable. He catered very much to your speed and what you are trying to get out of the trip and adjusts the itinerary accordingly. Since our group has returners but also first timer Ozzie was able to create something that works for everyone. The private transfer was very much appreciated. In hot weather an A/C minivan is the way to do it. Plus the fact that only locals know how to efficiently maneuver the always congested streets of the city. Ask for Ozzie, he knows how to make the trip work for you, whether you are a cruise passenger with limited amount of time, or if you are planning a week or two in the region. If you are interested in advance level deep dive, such as wine tasting of the region (Turkey has amazing wines) or food tour of local cuisine, Ozzie can help too.

Really great experience. We did this tour on the day we arrived to Istanbul. I feel like it helped me see how larger the city was which makes me excited to explore. The views were fantastic but I loved the history which is provided via speakers on the boat. My advice, take at seat at the very front of the boat for a great experience - take a jacket

Great value, good experience

The night views on the river were beautiful, the food was good (wait staff was excellent), the entertainment was fun with a lot of variety in the dancing - they performed many times and there were live musicians as well. The only mild complaint was that since the dancers were in the middle and not on an elevated stage it was hard to get a good view of the performance. Overall a very enjoyable experience and a great evening.

This tour is a great way to get introduced to the most iconic monuments in Istanbul. Our guide, Kubra, was amazing. She had a degree in history and was the perfect person to open our eyes to these places. She also provided us with excellent recommendations for shopping and dining that were among the best places we tried. We especially enjoyed the cisterns with their unique architecture. Be prepared to walk a lot!

Serkan the Great. Unbelievable guide.

I thoroughly enjoyed this private tour with Serkan. His knowledge of the history of the mosques and the Harem was exceptional and made the experience truly worthwhile. Having a private tour created a much more personal and intimate atmosphere. I never had to worry about other tourists interrupting, and Serkan was able to take the time to explain each location we visited in great detail. For me, the best tours are the ones where it's just you and the guide, allowing for a more engaging and customized experience. Serkan exceeded my expectations in every way. Must-Do Tour of Topkapi

Wonderful tour of Topkapi our whole family enjoyed. First, all the skip-the-line aspects are wonderful, but our guide MERT was FANTASTIC!! He was so friendly and knowledgeable and gave just the right amount of information. We learned exactly what we needed to appreciate the history and culture of Topkapi without it being too much. He was also very good at answering questions from the group. We are a family of three but the total on our small group tour was 7 people which is great size. Mert made sure we saw all the highlights, gave great talks along the way, and made sure we knew we could stay longer and linger in the palace past our time with him. I hope Walks in Istanbul reads this review to see what a wonderful tour guide Mert is! Highly recommend this tour and this company!

Great Tour of Blue Mosque etc

Our family really enjoyed our tour. The guide was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We were always given ten minutes to roam in each site on our own to take photos etc. The basilica cistern (optional) was closed for unforeseen repairs, but we were given the choice for a refund of that admission or an alternate cistern. We chose the alternate. Highly advise doing the cistern option as it’s a neat different thing to see but also, especially in summer, it’s about 10° cooler down underground in the cistern so it’s a lovely break from the heat. Would definitely recommend this tour and this company.

Great for first timers....

Great for first timers. The hammam is in a historic building with a special charm. The service is excellent and caters to tourists unfamiliar with the ritual. You don’t have to worry about bringing anything with you—they’ll give you disposable underwear. You are essentially getting bathed and massaged in a wet room—you will need to be comfortable being mostly naked. Your hair will get wet (there are hair dryers) but you may want to think about planning your service to end the day and not go into another event. It was really lovely and I felt calm, relaxed, and squeaky clean afterwards.
