A wonderful day trip to Delphi with Kiki.

My Son (10) and I loved our trip to the temple of Apollo in Delphi. Kiki was incredibly knowledgable and we learnt a huge amount. We opted out of lunch and found a fabulous restaurant (I don’t think you can really go wrong!), which had a great atmosphere over the holiday period! A thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable trip.

Amazing Meteora Experience – Just Be Prepared for a Long Day!

Where do I start? The Meteora Monasteries and mountain views were absolutely amazing. The scenery alone made this tour worth it. The snack and dinner stopovers were at beautiful locations right by the water, offering great views and a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. The staff, tour guide, and restaurant staff were all friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the day. One thing future travelers should know is that this is not a short trip. You will spend a significant amount of time on the bus getting to and from Meteora. The bus was comfortable and had Wi-Fi, but don't expect a quick excursion. We left Athens around 8am and didn't return until about 10pm. It is truly an all-day adventure. Another important note is that the monastery entrance fees are not included in the tour price, but I highly recommend paying the admission. The views from the monasteries are breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere makes the visit even more special. Despite the long travel time, I would absolutely recommend this tour. Meteora is one of the most beautiful places I've visited, and the experience was well worth the journey.

Breathtaking experience, loved it.

It was amazing watching the sunset at the temple. It is breathtaking. My only comment would be that it felt a long time to sit and wait once I had looked around. I had a look round, it doesn’t take long but then didn’t have time to go for food, so had to sit and wait. I would eat or have a drink first. Our tour guide Alice was really helpful and friendly.

100% recommend

If you’re second guessing doing a group tour or private tour, we 100% recommend a private tour. We didn’t have any pressure to keep it moving, although the time allotted for each space was on point. We enjoy looking at everything at our leisure and aren’t needy about all the background in the moment. Being in a car verses bus also allowed us to enjoy views and places we otherwise would have missed. The best part is on this all day tour, I no longer felt I needed to do the hop on hop off bus. There wasn’t anything we felt we missed seeing. We learned a lot of history in between stops, and even got to ask random questions about Greece and Athens. We really enjoyed our driver Nikolas, he spoke very good English and had an amazing happy attitude. He loved to talk which also made the day go by pretty quick. So much knowledge we already forgot half, but the memories and pictures are forever. Wear good shoes, and be prepared for climbing some steps!

Our tour guide Michail is an accomplished story teller and entertainer. He afforded his group the opportunity to learn about the mythology and reality of Ancient Greece and Delphi. Our tour was paced with restroom breaks, climbing the hillside of Delphi and experiencing the ruins, lunch in picturesque Arachova all while Michail educated us in an informative and witty manner. Thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Acropolis and Agora History with Danai!

We were led by Danai. She was engaging, funny, and, most of all, educational! This is a perfect activity for a quick overview of some of the most important and culturally significant spaces in Athens. Danai was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had a knee replacement six months ago, and it was a lot of walking but very manageable.

Delphi full day trip

Lily and Friday were amazing guides. Our trip to Delphi was so much richer thanks to Friday taking us through the museum first. Lily filled us in on so much history and mythology during the 2+ hour ride to Delphi. So glad we chose Delphi over the other full day trips as the antiquities found in Delphi were incredible. Had the best meal of many good meals at the Taverna we ate at in New Delphi (Bouka maybe).

Highly recommend

We had a great experience with Angelos, Demitrius, and the rest of the crew (apologies for spelling). They were very knowledgeable and made the trip very fun. The boat was beautiful and the crew does a great job maintaining it. Food served on board was a delicious combination of traditional Greek food and the unlimited soda/beer/wine were appreciated. The islands we visited were lovely as well, but the boat ride itself was our favorite part. Our only complaint is that we received several emails/viator information confirming our reservation but they had conflicting information on pickup location which caused some stress the morning of.

Very worthwhile day trip

Really enjoyed this tour and seeing so many different and interesting places. Our guide shared great history and did a great job of keeping us on a good schedule to try to beat some of the crowds. The Theater of Epidaurus was especially incredible and worth climbing to the top to gain perspective from that location. Very glad we fit this tour into our trip.
