Definitely make sure that...

Definitely make sure that you have a tour guide. We booked a private guided all day tour of Athens. By chance we found out from Olive Sea (the tour that Viator used) that that simply meant a knowledgeable driver. For extra money we could, in addition, have a guide to accompany us into several places that a driver was not allowed to go in . Well worth the money. Not only did we have a wonderful driver (Stephanos - sp?) but a unbelievably knowledgable personal guide (Avi - sp?) that brought the places we saw to life. Additionally, as we are up there in age, our guide helps us maneuver places like the Acropolis the would have been difficult to do on our own. Wonderful experience! Thank you so much Stephanos and Avi for your patience, friendliness and informative presentations.

Gorgeous tour, beware of lots of stairs and pricy dinner spot

Vaso was an amazing tour guide! Super friendly and knowledgeable, and she shared just the right amount of information. It was a great tour, definitely recommend. Lunch was good, I recommend the chicken skewers (so good!). The dinner place they stopped at on the way back is very expensive (and not that great tasting, just ok) and I recommend you bring snacks instead. Or be ready to spend 55 euro for 2 people to have dry pork kabobs and French fries and Greek salad. Also, prepare for a long day with lots of stairs at the monasteries.

Delphi for a day

Me and my daughter had a wonderful experience. Driver and tour guides were very knowledgeable with a lot of interesting information about sites along the way and the Delphi Oracle site. We recommend having lunch at the end of your day with the entire group! Food was very good and reasonably priced.

Poseidon Sunset Tour — even if it is overcast!

Highly recommend taking this tour! Our guide/driver Teddy was the best! We booked the sunset tour and even though it was overcast and we didn’t get to see the sunset he was able to make it one of the best tours of our trip. Even better, it’s a family business! He learned everyone’s name and interacted with the group the entire time. We had some long drives and instead of silence he kept us entertained. We were even able to grab dinner at a local restaurant. When we stopped for pictures, he knew exactly where to put us to capture the best photo!

The best way to see Athens

Really well organised, amazing tour and on a bike so much ground is covered. Unless you are a very keen cyclist I would recommend the e-bike, as the pedal assisted motor means that you feel like you are always peadling on the flat (and Athens is hilly) You still have to pedal all the time, but its like you have a friend pedaling with you making it easy We had Stephanie, who was an amazing bundle of energy who absolutely made the tour

The Delphi Experience

It was a long drive from Athens to the Temple of Delphi but it was well worth it for the experience. Margarita was very knowledgeable and led us through the archeological museum and then through the ruins of Delphi. Lovely lunch afterwards in a nearby town. It was a terrific day and we find the people who go on these tours are so nice and interesting coming from all over the world.

Excellent value for money.

We did an all inclusive trip to Delphi. Absolutely brilliant day. Our guide was Katharina, who I can only describe as excellent, with a wealth of knowledge on Greek Mythology as well as having as sense of humour! Everything was so well organized, and she was so clear on her instructions, meeting times etc. Our driver Evan, was excellent encountering some challenging maneuvers during the journey!. Its a pity more people don't appreciate the guide and driver on their way leaving the bus..

The Temple of Poseidon...

The Temple of Poseidon and Cape Sounion sunset tour was a wonderful experience. The tour begins after 4 PM, which is perfect because you can enjoy your morning and do other sightseeing in Athens before heading out for the tour. Our guide, Theodora, was fantastic and provided us with lots of interesting historical information about the Temple of Poseidon and the Cape Sounion area. We had plenty of time to walk around the temple, take pictures, and enjoy the beautiful views. The sunset was absolutely incredible and made the entire experience truly memorable. This is definitely a must-do tour when visiting Athens!

The trip to the islands was a blast and so beautiful. The beaches we visited were crystal clear and not at all over packed, and the home cooked food was amazing. We enjoyed the unlimited coffee and wine, and the crew’s attitudes were welcoming and helpful all day long.

Our tour guide, Helen, was outstanding! She is very knowledgeable about the Parthenon area as well as the entire Acropolis area. Helen was good about responding to questions from our group.
