Bonaventure Cemetery

We visited Savannah and thought Bonaventure Cemetery might be interesting, so after doing a little research, we decided to book a tour because of the cemetery’s size. We were a little reluctant at first, but we’re so glad we did! We were lucky enough to have Harry Tiffany as our tour guide, and he was fantastic! He shared so much interesting information and fascinating stories about the families, their history, and the beautiful monuments. The tour was informative, engaging, and definitely worth it. I would highly recommend taking a tour to anyone visiting Savannah—and ask for Harry! You won’t be disappointed!

Great way to see Savannah!

We enjoyed our tour very much. We stayed on the trolley and did the whole tour before we decided where we would want to get off. We ended up with four different drivers throughout the day as we hopped on and hopped off. Each of them had their own way of storytelling. Some were very entertaining and we enjoyed that. Big Rob and another guy (who I didn’t get his name, had a very southern accent ant told great stories between facts) were our favorites of the day.

We loved that this tour was more about history through the lens of the ghostly. The walk was easy. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and had a voice that projected well. In addition to a bottle of water I might also suggest a fan. There was zero breeze the night we went in early August.

Dani and Dani were 100% spot on comedy entertainment!! I do not think my husband and I laughed that much in a short amount of time!! Worst part was when the ride was over!! This is such a great tour! Joyce was an amazing hospital tour driver for us. I was actually shocked when they called and asked if we needed picked up instead of meeting at their office. It saved us a walk for sure! Everything was very well organized and a great experience, the dolphin cruise was a great highlight to the day and I was so excited to get transportation to the south beach AND the crab shack. I mean it felt like a little kids field trip which is fun but even better with alcoholic drinks! Not having to worry about driving was honestly our main point and this definitely helped create a stress free day for both of us. Thank you Joyce and Kelly Tours for having such a great tour opportunity for people like us!

We had a good time on this tour. The bus picked us up at our hotel. We saw all of the local sites with a very knowledgeable guide. We got off at a couple of spots to get a closer view of things. He took us to our boat where we had a very casual ride up the Savannah. We were able to visit the various shops on the Riverwalk. I recommend this tour.

The tour was a pleasant walk over several blocks. The guide gave plenty of opportunities for people to ask questions. I heard different stories this time, so it kept my attention. Things to remember are to wear comfortable shoes and bring bug spray. Don't forget to write down where you parked so that you don't lose your car.

Still a fun, laid-back tour with interesting Savannah history.
