Our guide was Sachi, an excellent guide, she gave recommendations for each place, explained every activity step by step, very kind and attentive; and the driver Yoshimura san was a very good driver, he took us to and brought us back safely to Tokyo, both were very kind and patient with each of the tourists on the tour. Highly recommended tour.

This review is really for amateur/professional photographers.

Overall we had a great time, Li was very helpful in taking my own photos since I was alone. The trip, which started at 8 am, ended around 4:30 pm including the round trip (the rest is for photographers who want to "take" photos), I just think there wasn't enough time at some of the stops. For example, in Arakurayama, people had been queuing for an hour to take photos, and they still hadn't been turned, and when I finally got in, we only had about 45 minutes left, so I couldn't take a decent picture there. Perhaps if the tour order were changed and we started earlier, most places could be visited more easily. But as I said, we toured during times when the light wasn't ideal for photographers, and we were already on the road when the light was good. On my next visit, I would opt for a private tour; it was a good trip again for those seeing it for the first time.

Enjoyed the market!

We really enjoyed this experience during our first day in Tokyo. We learned a lot about what happens to the tuna from the time it was caught to the time we at it. We got to sample and compare tuna with 3 different fat contents. Sushi was very good. Our guide also helped us sample sake, fruits, egg roll, sweets in the market. Lastly we learned about shrines and temples. Our guide, Candy, was terrific.

Great tour for a day out of Tokyo

Erik was great, we started with a clear message on the directions the day before so finding the location in the morning wa a a breeze. Erik then explained the plan for the day, when we can best see Fuji and was on hand to answer any questions we might have. At each location he gave us the best tips which helped with time management and made sure we didn't miss the best bits. Overall it's a nice day out from Tokyo with a relaxed pace. Erik was great as a host and I would recommend this tour.

Fabulous tour of Nikko and its surroundings!

Excellent experience! Yuma, our guide, was very friendly, precise, and provided us with all the details we needed and some news. The places to visit are worth it and enough time is given to be able to visit everything. The only note I have is that the multiple reminders about the meeting times to arrive on time each time, even though we always arrived right on time or early, are quite pushy.

A great day in the presence of Mt Fuji

Wonderful day trip to see Mt Fuji, alongside some other great scenic spots and experiences. We were lucky with the weather and were able to see the peak of the mountain on a few occasions, before it was covered again by the clouds. It was a truly spectacular sight. The whole day was really well organised. Not too many stops and felt like we had enough time at each of them. Lake Kawaguchiko was beautiful in its own right and even the brief matcha stop was good fun and interesting. Special thanks to our guide Laner who explained many interesting things to us ahead of each stop, gave us clear instructions and directions during the day around timings and also gave us some great tips and recommendations for the day. The weather and Laner both helped to make this a memorable day trip!

An overcast day in Nikko

The group was quite small and the tour guide Minako was very nice. The driver took us up the mountain roads to Nikko, where we walked around the Nikkō Tōshōgū and thanks to the weather there were not that many people there. However the rain and clouds did hide mount Nantai from us when we were at the lake, and Kegon waterfalls were also almost invisible.

Would recommended to everyone!

This was such an amazing tour! It is perfect if you don’t have a lot of time in Tokyo but want to see it all, or even if you want to get your bearings and decide where you want to go back to later. Yasko was amazing and we ended up being the only two people on the tour so she tailored it to our interests and took us to some excellent spots!

Monkey Mania

It's a long drive and quite a walk to the compound but certainly well worth it. The tour guide and driver were awesome ! The monkeys are quite social and unafraid of the humans wandering around watching them and taking photos - sometimes you would think they are posing for you! I love nature so enjoyed every single minute of being around them.
