Gwen exceeded our expectation in every respect. From keeping the tour punctual, finding lost fellow passengers, and constantly taking care of everyone to teaching us useful Japanese phrases, her passion for the job was self evident. We have had a wonderful experience. Domo Arigato godai masu Gwen!

Do not go during rainy season!

Where do I begin? This tour started off rough when the tour leader caught an attitude with me after showing up to the excursion 3 minutes late. She lacks cultural awareness. She then got on the bus throughout her conversation mentioning time and how it is perceived in different cultures. Generalizing her comments with a micro aggression undertone. This wouldn’t bother me so much if I didn’t just waste 10 hours of my PTO for a useless tour. We are currently in the village with nothing to do but look at each other. Attempted to visit a garden that was raining the entire time. Tours like this are money hungry and should be closed when the season don’t provide the same experience it would be in the fall. Now I have to held against my will until this dreaded tour is over. This company is learn customer service better and to treat everyone the same. I not only wasted my hard earn money for this tour but they suggest a lunch spot in which we didn’t like the food. More money wasted. I do not recommend this tour during the raining season at all. Can’t wait to get off this bus!

Stressful Start, Incredible Mount Fuji Tour

The beginning of our trip was a bit stressful. Even though we arrived early, navigating Shinjuku Station and finding the pickup location was overwhelming. I highly recommend doing a trial run to the meeting point before your tour. Once we got started, the rest of the Mount Fuji tour was excellent! Our guide, Sandy, was very informative, organized, and took us to the best viewpoints. He also helped us find the perfect spots for amazing Mount Fuji photos. Overall, it was a wonderful experience despite the stressful start

Communication lacking - tour was ok

If you have walking difficulties this is not the tour for you. Pick up point was hard to find as I did not receive any details sent to me regarding the guide name. Lots of tours pick up at the same point and even though we were 15 minutes early and asked every guide we saw, we did not find our guide until he rang asking where were we! Views of Mt Fuji were spectacular though! Joey our guide was good - very happy and informative.

The stops are mainly souvenir shops, convenience store, places to spend your money. I’m not blaming Viator for rainy weather. Stops just weren’t interesting and were terribly crowded!

Bring some water with you in warm weather. While many places to buy are available, other tours can lead to long wait times at some locations. And don’t be like me and not practice stairs before the 398 steps to an incredible view. Otherwise an informative and beautiful tour that shows many aspects of Japan.

Diffany was amazing! It was very obvious that she was coordinating with the other guides in her group to make sure we didnt all crowd a location at the same time. She had a great sense of humor and was very kind. Diffany also ran a tight ship and made sure everyone knew how important it was to be punctual, which I appreciated a lot because it meant the group wasnt wasting time waiting on stragglers. Would recommend this tour (with Diffany) to anyone!!!

Luck day tour in Fugi Mountain tour

We had a great time on the one-day tour to Mount Fuji with Belle and the polite driver. They always said thank you to everyone when we got on and off the bus. Belle took so many beautiful pictures for us and made awesome video clips for our #106 group yesterday! We feel so lucky to have had Belle and the driver guiding us. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn a bit about the history of Japan around Mount Fuji.

I loved this tour! Great hassle free way to see Mt Fuji and surrounding places. The bus on the way back was a bit long because of traffic, would recommend to bring some snacks or you can buy them at convenience stores.
