We visited a Temple and Shrine! Meg taught us how to pray at the shrine and I was able to place a prayer at the shrine! My daughter walked around to remove evil spirits. We made our own sushi and ate lots of street food! Meg took lots of photos!

Tsubasa was a lovely, lovely tour guide. Knew a lot about the history and was easy to understand.
The tour itself... thought the amount of food would be greater for the price paid...

Shiki did a nice job…I liked the restaurant portion of the tour learning and trying the different tuna and even the new video portion that we watched on the tablet was informative, learning about the restaurant we ate at. I also enjoyed the other foods we tried in the fish market. Overall good tour!

Kazu was the best guide, He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to sample so many wonderful foods. Kazu went above and beyond to make this a wonderful experience.

Hitomi, our guide, was an absolute gem! She was very knowledgeable and gave us tons of great educational nuggets throughout the day. We started at the seafood market at an established stall where we learned a lot about how the tuna is procured, stored and prepared and also about the different cuts and theor uses. We ate several delicious samples before walking through the rest of the market where we sampled many other delicacies and also entered various shops based on our interests. Along the way she explained various traditions and ways of life and told us about her own family.We also toured a temple and ended the day with a delicious matcha ice cream. We can't praise her enough! We learned so much and had a blast. Usually I get tired by the end of a tour, but I could have spent the whole day with Hitomi- she is just a delight. We highly recommend this tour!

After having taken many major food tours over the years this was an almost total disappointment. Advertised as a 2 1/2 tour which ended abruptly before 90 minutes. First stop was great as advertised, where we observed preparation of the tuna and got to make our own sushi in a restaurant setting (the only time we sat down) but it went rapidly downhill from there. There was one stop for black cod in a miso sauce. The rest of the market walk consisted of simply following our guide around a very packed market with little explanation of what we were seeing and no more sampling of food. The second restaurant stop wasn’t available so we missed this. The grand finale consisted of crowding around a standup table and our guide pulling out a previously opened bottle of sake and 3 types of tasteless fish which we had to share with our partner. This seemed at best an improvised move by our tour guide after missing the one stop. At this point our group was surprised to hear the tour was over. No cultural component due largely to our guides poor English skills. A very disappointing experience for everyone in our group.

The tour was conducted by Nori and couldn’t have been better. He led us through the whole market place, shared information about various japanese foods with us and even showed us how to pray at a shrine. He was very attentive and asked the group what kind of food we’d like to try. He also showed interest in the group and we had some nice conversations. I can totally recommend this tour and want to highlight that Nori was an awesome guide.

Watch for the pigeons, our guide was great, very knowledgeable, but the tour only offered samples up to 2000 yen for two people, provided lunch was good.

Kento was a great guide, he was friendly and knowledgeable- we had a fun experience. Amount of food tasting and lunch was generous (which is not always the case for some food focussed tours). We will look back on today with good memories.

We really enjoyed this food tour! Our guide spoke great english and did a wonderful job of introducing us to new food as well as the history of the market. The included lunch was delicious and on-site. The only reason this gets a four-star (and it should be a 4.5) is because a lot of the food supposedly included in the tour price were actually free samples at various stalls which, while delicious, did not feel like it was what our money was meant to go to.

We loved our Tsukiji tour with Hitomi! She was such a delight, very kind, funny and knowledgeable about the entire area. The food spots she chose were very tasty, we really liked all the street food stops as well as the restaurant. This is the perfect way to discover Tsukiji fish market and the surrounding temples! Our guide Naoki was fantastic - very prepared and organized. He explained the various fish markets to us and took us to the indoor and outdoor markets. We tried delicious food along our walk. Lunch at a local restaurant was great - definitely a location we would have never selected. He also had a summary of suggested restaurants and local foods to try. Plus he suggested things to do in Tokyo. All in all it was a great way to see another area of Tokyo and eat some more great food. Definitely a must do tour!

Had an absolutely fantastic time on the Tsukiji Fish Market tour today! It was a true 5-star experience from start to finish. Meg was an incredible guide—super knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole tour feel fun and effortless. You could tell she really knows her stuff and genuinely loves what she does.

Excellent food tour with our lovely, knowledgeable guide Kazu - we learnt some Japanese history as well as enjoying a wonderful tour of the fish market, sampling foods. Kazu was excellent throughout and took plenty of photos which we shared with us after. Viewpoint at the end also a highlight.

Overall a very low stress easy tour in an overwhelming area of the city. The fish market can be very intimidating for some foreigners, but Holly our guide was very relaxed and her English was above par. We made several stops where she ordered in the crowd while we enjoyed the people watching. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed. The seafood lunch at the end was delicious and it was at a restaurant where they expected our group and had our own table with doors for good conversation. Only downside was the tour could have been 30-60 longer to try more foods. But now I feel more comfortable going back for sure. Highly recommend Holly!

This food tour was such a cool experience! Ken is so knowledgeable about Japan culture and his passion for it shines through.
