The tour was conducted by Nori and couldn’t have been better. He led us through the whole market place, shared information about various japanese foods with us and even showed us how to pray at a shrine. He was very attentive and asked the group what kind of food we’d like to try. He also showed interest in the group and we had some nice conversations. I can totally recommend this tour and want to highlight that Nori was an awesome guide.

Watch for the pigeons, our guide was great, very knowledgeable, but the tour only offered samples up to 2000 yen for two people, provided lunch was good.

Kento was a great guide, he was friendly and knowledgeable- we had a fun experience. Amount of food tasting and lunch was generous (which is not always the case for some food focussed tours). We will look back on today with good memories.

We really enjoyed this food tour! Our guide spoke great english and did a wonderful job of introducing us to new food as well as the history of the market. The included lunch was delicious and on-site. The only reason this gets a four-star (and it should be a 4.5) is because a lot of the food supposedly included in the tour price were actually free samples at various stalls which, while delicious, did not feel like it was what our money was meant to go to.

We loved our Tsukiji tour with Hitomi! She was such a delight, very kind, funny and knowledgeable about the entire area. The food spots she chose were very tasty, we really liked all the street food stops as well as the restaurant. This is the perfect way to discover Tsukiji fish market and the surrounding temples! This is a market with both food and souvenirs. The fish was super fresh. Loved that it was just 6 of us since the market is very crowded

Our guide Naoki was fantastic - very prepared and organized. He explained the various fish markets to us and took us to the indoor and outdoor markets. We tried delicious food along our walk. Lunch at a local restaurant was great - definitely a location we would have never selected. He also had a summary of suggested restaurants and local foods to try. Plus he suggested things to do in Tokyo. All in all it was a great way to see another area of Tokyo and eat some more great food. Definitely a must do tour!

Had an absolutely fantastic time on the Tsukiji Fish Market tour today! It was a true 5-star experience from start to finish. Meg was an incredible guide—super knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole tour feel fun and effortless. You could tell she really knows her stuff and genuinely loves what she does.
Ria, her trainee, was also so lovely—friendly, attentive, and a great addition to the experience.
The variety of food we got to try was amazing—so many different flavors and things I never would have discovered on my own. Everything was delicious and really showcased the best of what the market has to offer.

Excellent food tour with our lovely, knowledgeable guide Kazu - we learnt some Japanese history as well as enjoying a wonderful tour of the fish market, sampling foods. Kazu was excellent throughout and took plenty of photos which we shared with us after. Viewpoint at the end also a highlight.

Overall a very low stress easy tour in an overwhelming area of the city. The fish market can be very intimidating for some foreigners, but Holly our guide was very relaxed and her English was above par. We made several stops where she ordered in the crowd while we enjoyed the people watching. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed. The seafood lunch at the end was delicious and it was at a restaurant where they expected our group and had our own table with doors for good conversation. Only downside was the tour could have been 30-60 longer to try more foods. But now I feel more comfortable going back for sure. Highly recommend Holly!

This food tour was such a cool experience! Ken is so knowledgeable about Japan culture and his passion for it shines through. Got a bit lucky and we were the only ones on the tour so it ended up being like a private tour which was cool. Our guide Kazu was super cool guiding us around, pointing out cool spots and giving us some of the history of the place.

Kent was awesome. Personable and informative. My nine-year-old said it was one of the best tours ever. We went on December 30 which also happened to be the busiest day of the entire year. It was a little bit wild, but Kent was flexible and made it enjoyable despite the crowds.
