Takako was an excellent guide. Allowing us to go out our own pace and tailoring our time to suit us. Very knowledgeable and a lovely person to spend time with. Thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Takako.
What a fantastic way to experience Tokyo! We loved having a tour customized around our interests, allowing us to see exactly what we wanted while learning so much about the city, its history, and Japanese culture. It was such a fun and memorable day for our whole family!
Our guide, Mayumi, was absolutely incredible and truly made this experience special! From the beginning, she took the time to understand what we wanted to see and created a wonderful day around our interests. Her knowledge of Tokyo, its history, and Japanese culture was impressive, and we learned so much from her throughout the day. She was also so wonderful with our two kids, patiently answering their questions and making sure everyone felt included. What impressed us most was her genuine kindness and willingness to go above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. Her warmth, generosity, and personal attention meant so much to us.
We loved every minute of our time with Mayumi and are so grateful for the wonderful memories she helped us create. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo. And if you’re lucky enough to have Mayumi as your guide, you’re in wonderful hands!
Great tour with Koba !!
Saw the main sights of Tokyo in just a few hours.
Koba had lots of information, spoke great English and was completely considerate and accommodating with our group.
Would definitely recommend getting private transport for this trip to maximise your time , rather than opting for public transport.
Easy to extend time and great communication before to customise the tour.

We had an absolutely wonderful walking tour with Yuko today! She was such a kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful guide, and made the entire experience so enjoyable.
We visited Tsukiji Market, Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise-dori, Kappabashi, and Ueno, and Yuko did an amazing job bringing each place to life. She shared so much interesting history and local knowledge while also making sure the pace was comfortable and that we had plenty of time to enjoy each stop.
What really stood out was how personable and attentive Yuko was. She was happy to answer all of our questions, gave us great recommendations, and made us feel like we were exploring Tokyo with a friend rather than simply taking a tour.
We saw so much in one day and got to experience several different sides of Tokyo. We would absolutely recommend Yuko to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely wonderful tour guide. She made our first day in Tokyo so special!

We got to see the sites we wanted to see for the most part but our tour guide was not engaging and did not seem to have knowledge of the history of the areas we were visiting. We would ask questions at the sites and he was unable to give us the details or history of things. He often times walked ahead of us quickly. He didn’t provide any additional information. We could have visited those sites ourselves and read about them. It was overall disappointing.

Masa was a great tour guide. The tour was well paced and included all of the places we requested to see. It was a good way to get our bearings in Tokyo. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Walking tour in Tokyo. Guide met us at our hotel.
We then took the metro to a shrine and a beautiful park.
Back on metro to another area, Shibuya crossing and to a temple.
Walked through old Tokyo and had lunch at tempura restaurant.
Was a great tour to get used to the metro system. Our guide, Kenzo, was happy that we already had uploaded the Suica card on our phones.
We were on the go for 4 hours. Great intro to Tokyo.

If I could give Yuki (Yukino Shiraga) more than five stars, I absolutely would!
Yuki was amazing from beginning to end. She met us right near our Airbnb and immediately made my family and me feel comfortable and welcomed. This was our first full day in Japan, and having Yuki with us made such a difference. Instead of feeling overwhelmed trying to navigate a new country, we were able to relax, explore Tokyo, learn, and truly enjoy the experience.
She took us to so many wonderful places and took the time to share information about Japanese culture, history, traditions, transportation, and everyday life. She was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but what stood out to me most was how genuinely kind, patient, respectful, and sweet she was.
Throughout the day, Yuki made sure everyone in our family was comfortable and doing well. We never felt rushed. She answered our questions, helped us navigate the city, and took photos of us throughout the day so that we could all be included in our family memories.
She even surprised us with a small bag of Japanese treats, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. After the tour, she sent us the photos she had taken along with the sweetest message wishing my family continued happiness and safety. Those little touches meant so much to me and showed that she genuinely cared about our experience.
What makes Yuki so special is that she never made us feel like we were simply another tour group on her schedule. She made the entire experience feel personal. By the end of the day, it honestly felt like we had spent the day exploring Tokyo with a friend.
Yuki, thank you for giving my family such a beautiful introduction to Japan. 🇯🇵❤️ You helped make our first full day here something we will always remember, and I am so grateful that you were our guide.

It is hard to even know what to say because of how amazing it was. At the start of the day, I felt worried and confused (about being so far from home {and the train system}), but by the end, I feel comfortable about this far land, all because of our tour guide.
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. As a history buff with the knowledge of an amateur anthropologist, this guide was perfect and he answered my many questions (both about what we were seeing and deeper questions about Japanese culture/society).
The sites seen were also amazing, though one was largely about a television show that I believe is only really known by Japanese audiences (we saw where that show was filmed), but the filming locations were worth it themselves and the added information on the filming only added more interest to the area.
Overall, I greatly enjoyed what I experienced today and would highly recommend it to others.

Our half-day private tour of Tokyo was a fantastic introduction to the city, and our guide, Kenji, made the experience truly memorable.
Kenji's passion for Tokyo was evident from the moment we met him. He genuinely loves sharing the city's history, culture, and hidden gems. He navigated the subway system effortlessly, keeping the conversation engaging instead of making the transportation feel like downtime.
One thing we especially appreciated was how thoughtful he was about photos. Not only did he happily take pictures for us, but he also knew the best angles and timing to help us get great shots without waiting in long lines. He even had photos and videos on his phone that helped bring the history of each location to life and gave us a deeper understanding of what we were seeing.
His guidance through the fish market was invaluable. Knowing which stalls offered the best quality and value saved us time and made the experience much more enjoyable.
We spent four hours exploring with Kenji, and for our family—with a 12- and 10-year-old—that was the perfect amount of time in the summer heat. If you're touring with younger children who aren't especially interested in history, I'd recommend asking your guide to spend a little more time in the shopping and food districts and a little less time at the temples and shrines. The beauty of a private tour is that it can be tailored to your family's interests.

Ito was a wonderful guide. He was professional, knowledgeable about the history of Japan, and he had a lovely personality. We had a group of 8 people. Ito was patient with our elderly parents and made sure that they were able to enjoy the experience as much as the younger folks. He took us to Senso-ji and the Imperial gardens. We had such a wonderful morning with Masa! He was extremely organized, patient and accommodating, not to mention knowledgeable and fun. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Masa!
Took us to sites we wanted to see, although he was a nice man his English was subpar and near the end I gave up trying to understand him.
We had a 4 hour private tour where Ryoko met us at reception at our hotel and navigated us through the rail system. We were able to tailor our own destinations prior to the tour and take time out for shade and rest. Our first destination was the East Garden of the Imperial Palace. Afterwards, Ryoko gave us some fabulous shopping tips and assisted us back to our local train station where our hotel shuffle bus was parked. We really enjoyed the tour, the flexibility and touring at our own pace. We saw a new side of Tokyo through the eyes of a local and by riding the trains and walking through the streets of Marunouchi and Ginza
Our Tokyo tour was wonderful. Our guide was very informative and very knowledgeable about Japan. Great info that ranged the fish market to Shibuya and much in between.
Brilliant to know how to use the subway and get around Tokyo. It’s a big city and has lots to do, our guide Sam was so helpful and took us places we wanted fo visit

We had a 4 hour private tour on our first morning in Tokyo, and it was the perfect introduction to Japan! We had been contacted by our guide Maddie before the tour, and we told her a few of the places we wanted to visit. She helped us navigate the train station and walked us through all the areas we wanted to see, as well as many other stops along the way that we wouldn’t have seen without her. Maddie was very knowledgeable and friendly, and spoke very clear English. She knew exactly which routes to take, and we would have taken at least twice as long if we tried to go to all those areas without her. She was a great guide and we wished we could have taken her along for the rest of our trip!

Mr. Suzuki was very professional and catered to our specific needs. He picked us up right at hotel and took us to all the places we wanted to see. He was very knowledgeable of all the transit systems and the history of the locations. He was very good at comminicating before the tour started!
