The guides English was very hard to understand..The meeting point was chaotic.Noone new that Viator had a tour.

Very good guide. Brilliant day. Only problem was finding the bus departure gate in Tokyo bus station. Took us almost an hour. Leave time for this. We enjoyed the whole day.

Must be on time for this tour as there are many tours leaving from this location. Appreciated that this tour had minimal shopping planned and focused on the scenery and sites as planned. Our guide, Anny?, was helpful in providing context for the sites visited and very clear as to time we needed to return to the tour van. We were lucky and had a partial view of Mt Fuji but only got to the 4th station on the mountain due to significant snow at higher elevation (it snowed the day before we toured on 3/11/26. Bring some Yen to be able to get lunch or snacks from food stalls and smaller shops.

It was a great day — we were lucky in that it was a clear day and we could see Mt. Fuji in all her glory. The only thing that could have made it better was if it were spring and all of the trees and flora were in bloom!

The photo with the pagoda is a long 376 step hike to get it. Good day. The your guide just talked really excessively detracting from the existential experience

first of all the directions of the meeting point was very poorly explained.
Second of all the tour time for every is very very short. We literally couldn't explore half of it and even had to run to the bus.

Great experience! Highly recommend! Friendly and informative. Guide and driver were so sweet and respectful. Enjoyed hearing the history and culture of Japan. This is a full day trip and well worth it to see areas outside of Tokyo.

Mount Fuji is a long day trip but a nice change of pace after a few days in Tokyo. We travelled on a very comfortable bus and our guide was knowledgeable and organized. Unfortunately we had a very overcast and drizzly day so we only saw glimpses of Mount Fuji but we can't control the weather! We are still glad we took the trip as we were able to see some smaller villages and travel through the mountains. Don't forget to try some lavender and maple ice cream if you get the chance!

The tour was a very well organised and well coordinated one. Sophie the tour guide and the driver made sure we had a nice day out in the freezing Japanese day which was very sunny and little windy. Nice bus, nice time management. Only improvisation which I can suggest is, to keep the flag of Goryo or Vitor with the guide, as I faced some hard time to locate the tour guide after arriving at the pick up place. Secondly, pre-sharing of contact number of the tour guide would help in better coordination. Sophie ensured no one left behind and came looking for me when she saw one person was missing during the first pick up. So, hats off to her efforts. Overall, a very nice experience.

It was great, I did have a hard time for find the bus. It turn out was 3 floors below me but the guide helped me find it as I was a mere minute away. Our guide Zoe was great and such a wonderful up beat spirit. Tought me things I did not know and went to great lengths to know what time to make it back to the bus. The bus driver was great too thank for driving me safely to our destination.

This company is an absolute scam. We reached out multiple times, 20 minutes before departure, to confirm which bus we needed to board. No one responded. As a result, we missed the trip entirely because there was zero guidance, zero communication, and zero support.
To make it worse, they refused to refund us, even though they completely failed to provide the service we paid for. Their customer service is non-existent, and their disregard for customers is shocking.
Save your money and book with a reputable operator. This company will take your money and leave you stranded.

We had a great time on our tour seeing all the sights. Justin was a wonderful tour guide and our driver got us everywhere efficiently and safely. They did advertise WiFi on the bus and there was not any available.

We had a lovely trip to Mount Fuji and were extremely lucky with the weather which was clear and bright. We made several stops including Oishi Park and the shrine and pagoda. The guide was friendly and spoke good English. The journey on the way back took a long time due to traffic so it was a long day, leaving at 8am and returning to Tokyo at 7.30pm. Lunch was not included and they did not do hotel pick ups. We felt that the information you receive in advance could have been more detailed. For example, we didn't know that we should bring warm clothes, that there was only one restaurant for lunch that only accepted cash not card. The restaurant also only had one vegan/ vegetarian option. It was also unclear that the bus departed at 8am. We thought the meeting time was 8am and they would have left without us had we been a couple of minutes later. I did send a message before the trip to confirm start time and meeting point but I didn't have a response.

We had an enjoyable trip and visited a number of interesting places albeit very touristy which we expected.We were very lucky with the weather which meant we got loads of great pictures of Mount Fuji at the first stop where we enjoyed the lovely ice cream.By the time we got to stage 5 it was shrouded in cloud which was disappointing.
The driver and guide (Sophie )were very good although we would have liked a little more commentary on local history,customs /practices.
On the downside the toilet on the bus was unavailable which made it difficult to be properly hydrated given the amount of time we spent on the bus.The return journey was tedious with the traffic but that was nobody’s fault.
Overall a good trip though.

It's a nice, good organised trip but we didn't get any information about the sights and about the country in general. Driving in silence... Good for those who want to sleep. The girl who accompanied us was friendly but she is not a guide, just organiser. She told something exactly three minutes when we approached mount Fuji. It was a ten hours drive.

I think if the mountain had been visible the stops they picked would have been good but take away the mountain and 2 of the stops were a waste of time. It seemed to be an ice cream tour rather than a mount fuji tour.
Obviously they can't do anything about weather and clouds however something really annoyed me.
Going to the 5th quadrant we drove by the 4th quadrant and in a split second we saw the mountain. People on the bus gasping. But it was out of the blue. No prior warning no time to even take a picture and that was the only glimpse we got the whole day. Why not stop the bus for 2 minutes and let everyone take a picture of the thing we were on the tour to see? You've got to do things on the fly to maximise the experience but nope straight to the 5th level where we saw nothing.
Tour guide spent 20 minutes describing every ingredient of a noodle dish that was available at 1 of the stops. So bizarre. More time talking about this than the mountain.
We spent 10 hours on a tour and got a 2 second glimpse of the mountain. A good tour guide would have changed the tour on the spot and gave us enough time for 1 picture at that moment.
He pointed the mountain out by saying oh by the way if you look on your right you'll see the mountain. What a joke. Surely hes experienced enough to know when its coming up and give us some notice so we could take a picture. That really annoyed me.
Also the messages before it were banging on and on about the importance of being on time. If you're 1 minute late you'll be left behind. This starts the whole thing on a negative for no reason. We know how tours and times work dont treat us like children. Oh by the way the bus was 20minutes late arriving so they looked like idiots.

Our guide, Sofia from Hong Kong was horrible.
No information was provided on the sites, history.
We sat on a bus with no internet. She said it was being rebooted- no information was provided on that as well. We sat on the bus with silence. It was a rainy day, Sofia did not accompany us on the tour to explain, provide info or answer any questions. We were in our own.
