Lucas was amazing while showing us around Mount Rainier. He was incredibly informative, friendly, and very considerate throughout the entire trip. He made sure everyone was comfortable and took the time to share interesting facts and insights about the area, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The tour was well-paced, and he showed us all the best spots without ever making it feel rushed. Highly recommend Lucas if you want a memorable and well-guided visit!

Yes book it!
Definitely worth doing this tour! We enjoyed the beautiful scenery. I suppose the hike could be challenging but people were given an option to go as far as they wanted. We went the whole way up and glad we did. I have an Achilles tendinitis and I was able to finish it to give you an idea of difficulty. Tour guide was great!

An amazing way to get an introduction to the market. Provided an interesting variety of foods and recommendations on where to get more afterwards. A great mix of the expected tourist-y items and lesser-known stops. Will was a fantastic guide - managed to cram in lots of info and perspective while making it fun for all ages.

Must Do Tour
What an experience! Our guide, Matthew, was the best. So knowledgeable and friendly. My 10 year old son loved talking to him about nature and science. We got to snow shoe in Hurricane Ridge. We were fairly prepared for the snow; but Matthew had anything we could’ve needed. Also saw Lake Crescent and hiked in the rainforest. Lunch was AMAZING, was not expecting a beautiful, catered lunch. It was a long day, but worth being able to experience Olympic National Park. Highly recommend, and felt so lucky to have Matthew as our guide!

This was the most incredible day!
Wow! What an incredible experience! . Mount Rainier is stunning, We traveled with our teenagers ages 13 and 18 and they had the most amazing time.
We had an incredible day exploring Mount Rainier with Susan! Keeping teenagers engaged isn't always easy, but Susan’s knowledge and energy kept everyone interested. She took us to several hidden gems we never would have found on our own. I highly recommend this tour with Susan if you want to see the park’s best-kept secrets!
Special thank you to Susan for coordinating rest stops and a stop to shop for food. Plenty of time to explore welcome center. Just a well organized trip

Absolutely stunning!!! Tony our tour guide the best!!
My experience was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. Tony, our tour guide, was outstanding—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the region. He made the day both educational and thoroughly enjoyable.
The day started and finished with a Ferry travel to Bainbridge Island. II had no idea how stunning the park truly is, encompassing three distinct and pristine ecosystems within its nearly one million acres: a rugged coastline, lush rainforests, and glaciated mountain peaks. We were fortunate to have blue skies with just a touch of rain—enough to create a spectacular rainbow. Visibility was exceptional, allowing us to see all 18 peaks of Hurricane Ridge, with Mount Olympus standing majestically as the highest. In the distance, we could see Mount Baker.
Tony graciously provided me with traction spikes, which allowed me to complete a two-mile hike in Hurricane Ridge. It was an unforgettable experience. I have always dreamed of visiting Switzerland one day, and while this was on a smaller scale, the scenery beautifully fulfilled that dream in its own remarkable way. The breathtaking landscape was so moving that it brought tears to my eyes.
Tony provided us lunch with a yummy turkey wrap, chips and water.
Lake Crescent, with its crystal-clear glacial waters, was breathtaking. Our hike to Marymere Falls along the Barnes Creek Trail was equally memorable, surrounded by redwood trees and a magnificent maple in a serene rainforest setting. The scenery beautifully reminded me of my native country, Colombia.
It was truly a magical day and I highly recommend it. Totally worthy.

Forces of nature
We caught a glimpse of the glaciers and snowy peaks of Mount Rainier from the van, it was snowing and drizzling and cloudy most of the time in the park. But I enjoyed our walks on the snowy steps and on 2 forest trails and learnt about the cedars and doug fir trees and lichen and moss in the forest. Our guide Dan was a great guy, he served us a nice picnic lunch and lots of snacks and drinks to go along. And a surprise treat at the end too. Our ride to the park from Seattle was comfortable and Dan explained a lot about volcanoes and history of the places we passed by. He got us thinking about respecting the mountains and the trees and thinking of how the forces of nature made the park how they were and are today. He is a good guide and pointed out things that we dont know about the park and the trees and rivers that came from the glaciers, sharing his knowledge and love of nature with us. The weather changes very quickly and therefore the mountain changes correspondingly and our experience of it changes dramatically too. Thats what makes the feel of the mountain and the park unique and amazing.

Our guide, John was wonderful! During the drive there and back, he pointed out places of interest and gave us some history of the area. Same during the actual hikes. He was patient with the slower members of the group.
The trails were beautiful and challenging. One had to watch where you put your feet; lots of rocks and tree roots to navigate. Hiking shoes are a must. There is some long elevation to climb. Definitely not a hike for those out of shape (and the excursion description does warn of this.) Loved the old growth forests we hired through.

I had a great hike with Matt - he was knowledgeable about the trails and tailored the hike to my level and preferences. We went to the Rattlesnake Ledge Trail then to the Snoqualmie Falls after. Highly recommend both Matt and Mike's Hike Club in general!
