Such a fun tour!
Tiago was a great guide! We were worried this tour was going to feel too long but it wasn’t. Everything was spaced out nicely and each stop was fantastic. The food and wine everywhere were great! Would definitely recommend doing this day trip if you have the time in Porto!

Fabulous experience!
This cooking class was exactly what we wanted! My partner and I love baking and getting to make our own pastel de nata’s in Lisbon was fab. The class was fun and informative. Luh was a great instructor and made the group feel comfortable and relaxed. The class was a great length and value for money. Would highly recommend!

A fun evening and a delicious meal
Renata was a great instructor and chef. She explained our cooking process and got everyone involved. We made several dishes including peri peri chicken, Bacalhau, caldo verde soup and many side dishes. Dessert was amazing as well. Our class chatted with each other while we cooked which made for a fun evening.

I had a great day. Felipe, our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He was courteous and kind. He drove well. Th tour couldn’t have been better. A perfect day.

Walking Food Tour - Lagos
Sophia was a wonderful tour guide. Loved all three restaurants. Was a great opportunity to explore Lagos and enjoy traditional Portuguese food that we may have not had the opportunity to know about.
It was nice to meet other travellers and to enjoy the experience in a small group setting.

Fab walking tour of Funchal
We did the walking tour half way through our trip and had a fabulous time. We stopped for traditional wine tasting, lunch as well as trying other culinary delights including pastel de natas and a chorizo bola - you are definitely well fed and watered so don't eat too much beforehand!
The walking was easy for us able bodied members of the party, however, one of our party had difficulty due to the sloping nature of the area and cobbled streets so I would be aware of this when you book. He did not go ahead with the tour however the staff were extremely accommodating and very kindly issued a refund.
Our tour guide was fabulous and whilst informative was also really fun, she made the trip.
Many thanks we had a great time!

Delighted with Duoro
Delightful - our tour guide, Andrea, planned an unforgettable day. Both wineries were stellar with centuries of history. The pricing of amazing wines was very affordable and we placed orders from each with shipping to the US. The Douro region is stunning and dwarfs Napa. The boat ride could not have been more scenic. We had a delightful local lunch between the winery visits. Andrea was a perfect guide - insightful, humorous, approachable, and warm. I was somewhat hesitant given the tour is about 10 hours, but it is not to be missed! A+

Breaking Bread
Our walking food tour through Porto was one of the highlights of our trip to Porto. We tasted incredible traditional Portuguese cuisine, learned so much about the culture and history, and truly felt welcomed like family everywhere we went. Breaking bread together made the experience feel personal and authentic. Diego, our guide, was amazingly talented, passionate about sharing his city, and had a way to connect with us. Every stop had a story, every dish was memorable, and the entire tour felt like spending the day with a good friend. Highly recommend Diego and this tour to anyone visiting Porto!

Great for expert chefs and beginners!
This class was great! We are relatively experienced with cooking, but this class was perfect because while some people got the general “learn to cook” explanations, we still felt like it was a great class because we learned all about Portuguese-specific cooking and definitely came home with recipes we will be repeating. You definitely won’t leave this class hungry, plenty of food was made and all of it was delicious!

Great Introduction to Lisbon
Excellent way to explore Lisbon and all it has to offer. Gabi was beyond exceptional. She
expertly navigated us to many landmarks while showing us some not so obvious points of interest. Seriously, one of the most personable and knowledgeable guides we have ever encountered.

Informative and fun, we...
Informative and fun, we loved this hands-on, two-hour cooking experience where we learned about both the history and step by step technique in making not only Pastel de Nata, but also Farofias. Everything was so well thought out and paced, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the clean and bright cooking school environment. Great facility and small group setting. Anna and Marta were wonderful, expert instructors. Again, pace of class was perfect for mixed ages (our group included ages 11 and 15). Fun to sit for a few minutes and enjoy eating our desserts at the very end!

Minnesota home cooks
It was lovely! Directions to get in were a little difficult to understand but we got in on time. Jorge was fantastic. English was excellent. We four guests were all home cooks and learned something. The conversation and the wine went along with a wonderful meal. Our 3 hour event stretched on for 4 and a half hours and that was a GOOD thing. We would wholeheartedly recommend Jorge and already have when we were on a boat and wine tour the next day.
