We truly enjoyed our tour of Tavira — it’s such a beautiful city! Our guide had a wonderful sense of humor and shared unique insights and local stories that we never would have discovered on our own. The tapas and wine portion of the tour at Ti Maria was absolutely exceptional — delicious food, great atmosphere, and the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tavira!

Turns out we were the only couple on the tour. So our guide, Paoa, who was extremely knowledgeable, gave us his individual attention. We both greatly enjoyed the afternoon. Castle in Silves was fun to explore. Spent a fair amount of time there. The old church in front of the castle was good too. Best parts of the day were his explanation of the process of harvesting cork and of course the wine tour. Because it was a smaller winery you got to see the entire production. We ended up buying 6 bottles to take back to the condo. Just a most enjoyable tour.

This wine tour and visit to Silves was honestly one of the best days of our trip to Albufeira! It was a small group, which made it feel really personal and relaxed — everyone got along so well, and the company made it even more enjoyable. By the end of the tour it felt like we’d all known each other for ages.
Our guide, João, was amazing, super knowledgeable, funny, and full of great stories about the area, the wines, and local life. You can tell he really loves what he does, and that energy made the whole day even better.
The winery was beautiful, the wine tasting was spot on, and Silves is such a lovely little town to explore full of history and charm.
If you’re in Albufeira and want a relaxed day with great wine, great company, and a fantastic guide, definitely book this tour

Great experience with excellent crew. We really appreciated the authentic hospitality from the guides, with good conversations about wine, Portuguese history and more. Other customers have nothing to worry about, even with kids and infants. They provided car seats and baby sitting while the parents could relax on the tour. Totally recommended!

My husband I had a wonderful day with our guide Carlos who was incredibly friendly, generous and kind. He was very informative and gave us an amazing guided tour through Silves, stopping to show us cork trees and explain local scenery, vegetation and a glimpse into the Algarvian local life. Our winery was stunning with 4 delicious glasses with a small pairing of cheese and meats. Thank you very much to Carlos for making our experience one we will never forget from our time in the Algarve!

We had an excellent trip out. Joao was very professional and knowledgeable and was very accommodating when we were delayed in the Silves cafe. The tour of the winery was very informative. Staff were friendly and explained about each wine. Charcuterie board was very tasty and nicely displayed. All in all a lovely experience.

The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Felipe took the time to answer our questions regarding the "cork" tree and the many different types of wines.

Phillip was absolutely amazing from the moment he picked us up. He was very entertaining and informative of where we were visiting. We made a lot of stops to view the areas of the Algarve and to learn about the culture. We then ended the day with a beautiful winery tour and tasting. The property was absolutely stunning! It was quite warm, but not unbearable, Phill kept the car nice and cool. I would do this tour multiple times again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Had a great time! Carlos, our driver, shared a wealth of knowledge and was a lot of fun. The winery was picturesque and the staff were kind and helpful. The wines were very good. Especially liked the Cabernet Sauvignon.

Filipe was a great host and the tour was fun and informative.
Started with a stop to see how the corks are made, Silves town and a tour of the winery, where we learnt about the process of making the wine then finished with 4 wines to taste. The winery was stunning and had a great view during the tasting.
Filipe even gave us a restaurant recommendation in Guia as he informed us it’s where Peri Peri chicken was created - which didn’t disappoint!
Me & my friends had a great day and would recommend this trip when in Portugal :)

Phillpe was an excellent, friendly and knowledgeable hosting. A small group of only 6 people which was a great number.
Lovely visit to the historic town of Silves, stork spotting before heading to the Vineyard. Vineyard is in a stunning setting, with a tour given by Phillpe followed by a tasting of 4 wines out on the terrace overlooking the vines. You can add additional wine by paying the vineyard directly, the sauvignon blanc is worth a try! Reasonably priced shop. Worth visiting!

Although this is a ‘small group booking’ please be aware there are likely to be several other ‘small groups’ booked in at the venue. The tour was informative.
However, I estimate there were a good fifty people crammed onto the terrace for the tasting.
There was one person trying to accommodate us all . Not her fault but as a result the whole experience was very rushed. We waited half an hour to try the first wine during which time the cooked meats etc became very dry. Our driver did his best to keep us informed about the wines, but as our group could not be seated together he had to repeat himself many times. Not awful but would not recommend.

Easy-going, brilliant tour through the Algarve topped off with a generous tasting at a lesser known winery - wines were delicious. Absolutely superb way to spend the day. Joao was a great guide and super knowledgeable about the local area. We would love to do this tour again!

This was an absolutely amazing excursion and a must-do even if you don't know much about wine!
Firstly, Joao was a fantastic guide. We stayed in Albufeira and was picked up in perfect timing right from our hotel. He was a local so was plenty knowledgeable about the area and super funny!
On the way to the winery, we had a few stops at various sights. Joao was well versed in both the history of Portugal and the elements of wine-making - he welcomed questions!
Then, there was the winery. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Amazing for taking photos. The wine was great of course and they explain the entire winemaking process before we had our tasters. The winey is a smaller, family run place and everyone was LOVELY! Super welcoming, nice people and genuinely seemed like they really love what they do!
I will definitely be returning to the winery and hope to book through this same company again. Everything was amazing from start to finish. At the end of the tour, Joao even gave us some recommendations for dinner and we took it. Had lovely seafood to end the day. Thank you everyone for making that day so special x

We have done wine tours in California and Italy. This one was by far the best one we have been on. Our tour guide Carlos was a fountain of information. We stopped in Sines for a quick coffee and to take some pictures of the castle there. Then he pulled off the road to show us cork trees. He explained the whole process with examples of different corks and how they are harvested. Really fascinating!
When we made it to the vineyard, he gave us a full tour of the manufacturing process and storage of the wines, both red and white. We also saw the bottling process. He went the extra mile to answer questions and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the wine and the tapas.
If you do one tour while in the Algarve, do this one!

We were promptly picked up at our accommodation and enjoyed the experience from start to finish. It ended up being just me and my partner as we booked a 9am slot which just made the experience that little more special. We learnt a great deal not just about wine, how it's made, storage, but also about the surrounding areas in the Algarve. We saw some beautiful sites along the way and then we got to the best part, the wine tasting! We briefly met the owner of the vineyard and his wife and each tasting got better and better. The vineyard itself is in a beautiful location and we got to see where the wine is made and stored. At the end of the trip we were taken back to our accommodation. Highly recommend this trip, the hosts have spent a great deal of time selecting the best vineyard for wine tasting and have so much knowledge to share!
