This was a magical experience. The location was stunning, the company pleasant, and the food delicious. This is a must do for anyone traveling to Madeira wishing to experience a local farm/home, with authentic foods and a local providing history and a lot of a fantastic information.

What a truly special experience to be invited by somebody into their home and have them cook for you in the midst of their beautiful farm overlooking an incredible city view! We are so incredibly thankful to Andreas and his team for making this a night we’ll fondly remember for years. The food and the drinks were superb, the atmosphere was stunning, and the company was lovely. We all left the evening with our bellies and hearts full. Definitely don’t miss this!
The warmest of welcomes was followed by a tour of the farm, and what an education it turned out to be. A family run farm that yealds to much from such a concentrated area. Then, the highlight, the food was outstanding but the company was better than anything we could have imagined. Drawn from across the globe, our conversation went into the night over exquisite wine and beautiful views. One on the best night's I have ever have 10/10 and I would give more in a heart beat. Do yourself a favour and book this!
Such an amazing and unique experience. The host was very accommodating with dietary restrictions. Food was delicious and it felt like a dinner with friends. If Tor is reading this, great tattoo 😂
Wow what a fab fun evening with delicious food and wonderful company. There were 20 of us from all over the world. Andria who owned the farm was very passionate about the produce and his farm truly a lovely guy and we got a guided tour of the farm before we sat down to eat. The wine was flowing too. Perfect night and you can get the No 34 bus up to his place from Barceló old town cost of €2.05 17:15 from centre arrived at 17:35 a tad early but wasn’t a problem and then the 9:35 back 1 honestly couldn’t have wished for a better night as this was our last. Definitely recommend

The farm and the view are absolutely incredible. The sunset was the most beautiful we saw all holiday in Madeira! The food and drinks were really tasty and all home cooked and they used produce from the farm. Our group was fun and we had a lovely dinner together.

This was an amazing experience. It’s a must do. The hosts were wonderful, the location is breathtaking and the food was phenomenal. It was a group of 12 people and we all loved the experience. We ate so much, had poncha and wine. Everything he cooked was so delicious. I would do this again when back in madeira.

Tour of small farm area very nice. Meal was delicious. View is beautiful. Met a couple and their son and had great conversation.white wine and poncha was nice. Andre made the poncha in front of us.
What a wonderful night! Between the view, tour of the small farm, the simple yet delicious meal, stories of the family, and a wonderful mixed group we had exceptional time. It was easy to find and getting help for parking was efficient. We are very pleased with the night. If I come back to Madeira I will definitely repeat this experience.
My girlfriend and I joined the experience this week and were completely blown away by our hosts, their gorgeous property and breathtaking view, and of course the food.
From beginning to end, we felt welcome and put at ease by both hosts, and were in good company with the other guests throughout.
The experience represents a great opportunity to meet other travellers to Madeira, and compare notes and share recommendations. Huge thanks also to our hosts for their recommendations and everything we learned about the island from them.
The food was the best we’ve experienced in Madeira. Home made, farm to table, heartwarming dishes, and equally exquisite home made red and Portuguese white wine, and, of course, Poncha.
The food kept on coming and our hosts made sure to respect everyone’s preferences and were careful to ensure everybody was satisfied.
Lastly, the views from the property are out of this world. If you’re lucky enough, as we were, to experience a golden sunset, then your evening will have been truly magical.

Marvelous experience. Beautiful setting overlooking Funchal (be aware that if you decide to walk there as we did from sea level, it is very steep, not for the timid).

As the parents of a Michelin starred son, and veterans of many trips to Italy, the chef's version of a rosemary panna cotta with passion fruit was to die for!

This was without a doubt the highlight of our trip to Madeira. The host started the experience with poncha, then a tour of the property. We enjoyed many food courses, all of which included ample wine, red & white (all we could drink!) There was also no shortage of food. Everything was delicious and the chef explained in detail about what he made, as well as the foods relevancy to Madeira. There were 10 of us in the group, from all different countries. It was fun to get to know everyone and share lots of laughs. The host even allowed us to stay past our allotted time, finishing our wine and having an espresso night cap. If you do one thing in Madeira, you HAVE to do this. It was such a great value too.. so much food and wine for the price!
