Absolutely fantastic. Our guide, Padro?,was wonderful. He took time to get to know us, to introduce us to each other, and to make us into a comfortable, cohesive group. He told us about interesting things as we passed them, told terrible jokes, and kept us entertained all the way. The vinyards wrre wonderful. The wines and ports were excellent. The information about how they are made was fascinating. Borh also made olive olil which our main guide said came from olive trees planted to help prevent erosion. We went to an organic vineyard that also produced honey that was the best we ever tasted. Without a doubt the best tour of our trip. Excellent experience. Pedro said they go to different vineyards each time. Would go with him again just for that opportunity.

A fantastic day with picturesque stops and viewpoints with time to walk around and get a feel for the place. There was plenty of time at Porto Moniz for lunch and a swim. Our guide ?Justino? had the right combination of humour, information adventure (emotion) and spontaneity. Unfortunately we couldnt visit Seixal beach due to a sudden rockfall and so he quickly changed our route and activities. Lots of thrilliing off road rides . I would certainly recommend this smaller group trip with a jeep to get off the beaten track and travel on routes you probably wouldnt venture along in a hire car. Unfortunately I had a personal problem on the morning of the trip but everyone on the team was very helpful and even checked in with me in the evening to see if everything had worked out. I would 100% recommend this tour and company. Unfortunately I cant add any photos as I forgot my phone!

Margarida exceeded our expectations by miles. She was born and raised in Lisbon and knows it like the back of her hand. She picked us at the airport and took us directly to Sintra. She walked everywhere with us and gave the history and interesting information about everything we saw. She took pictures of us at so many interesting sites. She used to be a professional photographer so the pictures turned out great (no charge). She is a caring and friendly person, and she was always looking out for us. Because of her I highly recommend Viator. If you are booking in Lisbon, ask for Margarida.

This was wonderful way to travel and made the trip so much easier. Diego was incredibly kind and helpful. Porto was beautiful and it was nice that our trip was customized to what we said our interests were. The car was comfortable and immaculate as well.

Graham (sorry if it’s Graeme) was awesome! Super knowledgeable, a 4x4 experience from SOUTH AFRICA in Madeira, as a Saffa I can tell you it’s and Experience. So worth it! Please do it! We had an awesome time it was fun and definitely an awesome way to experience the true, beautiful, wild and mad super changing climates of the island. I don’t think you get to know the island truly unless you do one of these trips. (I.e staying in your resort is just a shame) the only thing I will say is change the restaurant of choice please.. it doesn’t match the wow factor. That said, it was such a flippen awesome experience I cannot knock it any stars for restaurant vibes.. I’d recommended this strongly to anybody. Thanks Graham for a lekker, authentic and wild experience. Made our trip!

This was a Great Value for Money tour. Dino was very talkative and extremely enthusiastic about this beautiful island of Madeira. Would defo book this tour operator again. Great value and saw extra sights along the way, was great that the tour lasted a little longer than planned just for a few life changing mountain top views. Was even better with only four people in the tour..

Great tour! Our guide Orlando was awesome as well as his partner Paulo they were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Everything was well organized, on time and I learned a lot. Both towns are very beautiful and have a lot to offer. Highly recommend this tour.

Lisbon weather in summer is quite hot, be ready to drink some water and walk . For women, there’s many areas to climb steps, dress properly. I always heard about pickpockets in the city of Lisbon, I took my precautions before I started the journey, but honestly I didn’t see any activity of people around that could it engage on that activity. With my personal experience on this tour I can say that the pickpockets stories are a little bit exaggerated. Be aware and careful everywhere you go in this planet , anyway . Always use your common sense and enjoy your vacation.
