This was a super great way to experience Gerês if you only have one day and don't want to get a rental car. Ricardo was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and very helpful for those who were not quite as steady on their feet! Make sure to bring shoes with good grip! The hikes we went on weren't long but the footing was occasionally sketchy and steep (but definitely worth it for the waterfalls!) The swimming was wonderful on a hot day; really try and schedule for a good day so you can get in!

Miguel was so accommodating and patient with us as we had a problem with our daughter. It was no nice having our own tour guide all to ourselves. The pick up and drop off was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about Miguel and our day together!

Lisbon weather in summer is quite hot, be ready to drink some water and walk . For women, there’s many areas to climb steps, dress properly. I always heard about pickpockets in the city of Lisbon, I took my precautions before I started the journey, but honestly I didn’t see any activity of people around that could it engage on that activity. With my personal experience on this tour I can say that the pickpockets stories are a little bit exaggerated. Be aware and careful everywhere you go in this planet , anyway . Always use your common sense and enjoy your vacation.

If you book this tour with this company, you are guaranteed the best experience when your driver introduces himself as Miguel. Miguel is the best driver, great personality and so much fun. He knows the best off road tracks and well...what can I say. He is just very easy going, crazy driving but we felt safe with him all through the tour. He clearly knows his car and the roads very well. Seeing other jeeps driving boring speed and roads, we felt so lucky to be in Miguel's jeep! Thanks for making this day the best of the best. One remark: we would have loved to have more time on Fanal forest. It's a magical place. Would have preferred to bring a packed lunch and enjoy it there rahter then having the longer lunch stop in Porto Moniz

Absolutely wonderful experience discovering Sintra, Cascais, and the beautiful coast from Lisbon. Our guide Filipe was so knowledgeable and seemed to know everyone we met at each location. He really made the experience unforgettable with his stories, history lessons, and anecdotes. I would recommend this tour and him to anyone staying in our around Lisbon. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience! We also had an elderly mother with us who couldn’t walk too far, and Filipe made all the necessary provisions to assist us and help us enjoy the day to the fullest.

Pedro was a fantastic small group tour guide for the Douro Valley! He was polite, professional, and fun, catering to each guest’s preferences on this trip. He took us to the best viewpoints for photos, and each winery stop along the way was memorable and delicious to include wine, bread, olive oil, and a charcuterie spread. I researched many tour groups before booking this one, and I highly recommend Pedro as a tour guide!

This is the best way to see the island. We had the same guide for both the East and West tour of Madeira and he constantly provided us with information throughout the tour. The scenery was spectacular and the ease of not having to drive ourselves made for a fabulous day.

Great full‑day trip from Lisbon to Porto. Everything was smooth and well‑organized, and our guide Tiago was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Porto was beautiful, and the balance of guided time and free exploration was perfect. Highly recommended.
