We had an incredible experience on this Douro Valley wine tour. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The small group size made it feel intimate and exclusive, which really elevated the entire day. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also local, which added so much depth and authenticity to everything we saw and learned along the way.
We were staying in Mesão Frio, and the convenient pickup in the area made the day completely stress-free from the start. From there, the tour was beautifully paced, with stops at some truly breathtaking viewpoints that captured the magic of the Douro Valley.
Lunch was fantastic. It was thoughtfully chosen and a perfect complement to the day. The wineries we visited were equally impressive. Each one offered something unique, with excellent wines and welcoming hosts.
Overall, this tour delivered exceptional value for the cost. It struck the perfect balance of scenery, education, and indulgence. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to experience the Douro in a meaningful and memorable way.

We visited, wineries, scenic stops, and a traditional restaurant in several small villages. The tour guides were very nice and helpful. We felt like family members.

We would highly recommend Andreia and Valdemar as tour guides for the Douro Valley. Both are knowledgeable and passionate about the valley, the wines and the community. We visited family owned and run Quinta's and learnt about the processes and also the stories behind these amazing vineyards.
This has been hands down the best tour we have been on.
The small group size of 6 was a perfect number.

Highly recommend, Andreia and Voldemir were the best! Very thoughtful, professional, and kind. They picked us up from our hotel in the valley and the wineries they took us to were amazing local spots that are also very impressive and luxurious despite being small family-owned businesses. Way better than the big touristy spots. Perfectly curated day, we were very happy and lunch was also great. Thank you both!!

This was the best tour I have ever been on. My husband and I and another couple were visiting the Duro Valley for 3 days and this was the highlight of our trip. They picked us up in our small village in a very comfortable van. Andreia and Vladimir were very knowledgeable about the Portugal, Duro Valley as Locals and shared wonderful information. We went to 3 wineries that were remarkable, tasted some wonderful wines and even got to stomp some grapes. We had a wonderful lunch in a typical Portuguese restaurant also with wine which was delicious. We had the opportunity to taste one wine in the cellar from a large wine barrel! And were able to buy some fantastic wines to take with us. It was a remarkable day. Thank you so much Andreia and Vladimir!

Our guide Andreia was very knowledgable and knew the area very well. She was friendly and very accommodating with everyone needs, and never rushed anyone and each of the wineries. Our Driver Valdemar was also was very informative, and a excellent driver

We can definitely recommend this tour. I mainly booked this tour because Andreia and Valdemar as persons got good feedback - and this was totally justified. They really are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Additionally, the tour they created around the three vineyards is very interesting and the vines very tasty. 5 stars :)

This tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip and showed the best of what the Douro Valley has to offer. Go ahead and book it now!
Andreia and Valdemar have created a very thoughtful and personal tour of the area-- ours included three stops and tastings at family vineyards, incredible vistas and viewpoints, and a delicious lunch featuring traditional Portuguese dishes. They also shared lots of information about the Valley, its winemaking and agriculture, climate, history, and food and culture. They also made great effort to take photos of our group and create those memory moments around the tasting tables and in the vineyards. The convenience was unbeatable as well, as they picked us up and dropped us off directly at our hotel outside of Regua.

Andreia and Valdemer created a truly magical and unforgettable experience for us in Douro Valley. They picked us up right from our accommodations and took us to three amazing quintas, all family owned and each with very unique histories and winemaking practices. We also enjoyed a wonderful, authentic Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant. Having grown up in the area, Andreia is so knowledgeable about the region and shared a tremendous amount of information that we wouldn't have learned elsewhere. She also went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and comfortable throughout the day. I have Celiac disease so I need to follow a strict gluten free diet, and Andreia went above and beyond to ensure everything was safe for me to consume. She took great photos of us at each location. Valdemer was a wonderful co-host and expertly drove us all over the valley, allowing us to fully take in the beautiful scenery. If you're visiting Douro I strongly recommend booking with Andreia and Valdemer for a truly special, comprehensive tour of the valley.

Amazing tour was an understatement. We had an exceptional day with Andreia and Valdemar visiting 3 different types of Quinta. Each Quinta was different and we particularly enjoyed the time at Roncão learning about the origins of this property and the owners' efforts to retain historic roots while producing high quality product. Being able to see the Douro from great vantage points and eating a delicious Portugese lunch added to our experience. We learned a lot about Douro ports, wines and olive oils. Weather was not good. But we were taken to three relatively small vineyards. The wine was varied and excellent. We also purchased some jam and olive oil. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, an excellent tour.

Andreia and Valdemar were the best tour guides and hosts throughout the Duoro Valley. We had an amazing time visiting different wineries, viewpoints, an authentic Portuguese lunch, and a unique boat ride in Pinhao. Andreia made sure to always ask if we were comfortable or needed anything throughout the day. Because they grew up here and know the area so well, they offered so much knowledge and perspective that you would not get on another tour.
