Excellent Philadelphia Food Tour!!
This tour of the Philadelphia "Italian" Market was eye-opening and wonderful. Our guide Barry was a fountain of information and led us through the streets explaining the deep history of the area, including the beautiful mosaics on so many buildings in the area created by a local artist. These were so breathtaking. Another fun fact was the amount of murals painted on the neighborhood buildings, all by local groups of citizens and youngsters. We learned so much about the culture of the area, and sampled many local delicious staples including Bin Mi pork and chicken sandwiches (Vietnamese) and tomato pie. Barry was a very good leader and teacher, and made this tour very enjoyable.

An Awesome Experience From Start to Finish!!!
Awesome experience! I don't know how we got so lucky, but my party was the only one on the tour. This made the experience much more intimate and engaging. Rick Heimann is an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable on the city's history. He encouraged and answered questions. He took some great pictures of us and more. Secondly, the food was amazing. The spots that we sampled were all delicious. Mari Mari being our absolute favorite. Not to mention, I was actually full after the tour. Thankfully, I brought my appetite. I highly recommend both the tour and Rick as the tour guide. You will learn a lot, and most importantly, have fun while doing it.

Enlightening and inspiring
Our guide Rick taught us the history of the beginning of our nation as if he were there! Fantastic tour and we highly recommend this walking tour to inspire you about the USA and her founders. He taught us the good, bad, and the real struggles it took to make this American experiment take off and continue to support our nation.

A Fantastic Walking Tour That Brought Philadelphia to Life
I can’t recommend this walking tour highly enough. Tom was an exceptional guide from start to finish — engaging, endlessly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Philadelphia’s history and culture. He had that rare ability to make every stop feel alive, weaving stories, facts, and local insights together in a way that was both entertaining and deeply informative.
What really stood out was how Tom's storytelling transformed familiar landmarks into vivid moments from the past, and I walked away with a whole new appreciation for the city.
If you’re looking for a tour that’s fun, insightful, and led by someone who truly knows and loves Philadelphia, this is the one.

City of SISTERly Love
We should be calling Philly the City of Sisterly (not just Brotherly) Love, after learning about so many fascinating women. Joey was an exceptionally smart, warm, and kind tour guide. We walked for 1 hour 45 minutes around flat terrain (beware of old cobblestones though if that's an issue for you) while Joey kept us fascinated. I highly recommend this tour with a more unique twist, often overlooked, on history.

Well worth it!
Great way to hit some historic and city highlights. We had a great tour guide, who was fully engaged and had good stories and historical facts. Dress for the weather. It’s an open car. They pick up on 12th street across from Uncle Gus’s at Reading Terminal Market.

Great historic tour
Tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. Was happy to tailor the tour to our requests, but we didn’t have any! Group size was only 6, which worked well. A great way to get some understanding of the history of the city. Unfortunately some sites were inaccessible, due to the government shutdown at this time, but our guide had crafted a tour to combat this so we still had plenty to see!

Fantastic tour!
First, communication was superb regarding impact of government closures and reminders. Second, Rick was extremely knowledgeable about the historical sites and Philadelphia overall. Sad more people do not see this historic site. Great tour that I will recommend to friends!

Claire Brought the Ghost Stories to Life
We went on a ghost tour last night with Claire, and it was such a memorable experience! Our group of four joined with another group of young adults, and Claire kept everyone engaged the whole time.
She is a wonderful storyteller. Her use of vocal variety really pulled us in—sometimes lowering her voice so you leaned in closer, other times raising it just enough to cut through the sounds of fireworks and emergency vehicles that happened to pass by during our tour. No matter the distractions, we could always hear her clearly.
Claire shared plenty of history along with the ghostly tales, which made the experience even richer. She also introduced us to a ghost app, which added a fun interactive twist. What we appreciated most was that she wasn’t over-the-top or cheesy; she kept the spooky theme alive while still grounding everything in the fascinating history of the city.
Overall, Claire made the tour both entertaining and educational, and I’d definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Philadelphia!

Great tour of the city
Fun tour with so much information about the sites and history. Tour started before dusk (August) and were able to see many of the sites while still light outside. As the sun sets the city lights up beautifully highlighting historical buildings and statues. This was our 1st tour of the city and helped orient us and decide which sites we wanted to visit the following day. Great tour!

Great Tour for Anyone
Connor was outstanding -- pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable -- one of the best guides any in our group ever had. All of us learned so much -- even the native Philadelphia prof. Without much walking, you'll cover a great deal of historical ground. Totally recommend this tour for visitors and locals alike.

An evening Stroll
We did the 90 minute evening walking tour of independence hall, liberty bell, and many other things. It was my 13 year old daughter and myself. Our guide was John and he was amazing! We lucked out and no one else was on our tour. John was great examining all kinds of things and answering our questions and having some great discussions. My 13 year old was able to follow along and had some questions herself! She’s hoping this helps with her exams in a few weeks.
The tour was great the evening was beautiful and the gorgeous setting sun was such a beautiful backdrop for all the locations and it was such a comfortable night.
Thank you John D.
