BEST Tour in NYC Hands down!

Quite honestly, this tour was added to our schedule at the last minute -- how interesting is a train station? But, it ended up being one of the most fascinating tours I have ever taken. First, our guide was super organized and had ear pieces so that it was enjoyable and easy to hear him. From the ceiling to the windows to the floors, to light fixtures, walking in places I would never have known to even look at and then outside looking at the building architecture, it is hands down one of the best tours we took in New York City. I know my description sounds boring (like who cares about a light fixture, right?), but everything had a history and reasons and this is a tour I could take ten more times because there was so much information and it was so very, very interesting. I would say, Statue of Liberty is #1 and this tour is #2.

Makes you understand what the show Gilded Age is referring to and even if you don’t watch it you learn so much about that era, and you see the buildings and learn about the architecture and the stories behind them and the people who lived there. Just what I was hoping for. Not too much walking bc you stop a lot to learn about the mansions. Also very helpful earpieces to hear the guide.

The NYC Underground Subway Tour was fantastic! Our guide, Pete, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights about the subway system. Even though I had visited some of the stations before, I had no idea about the hidden details and Easter eggs tucked away throughout them. Pete brought the history and unique features of the subway to life, making the experience both educational and entertaining. Washington day trip from NY

A great way of visiting Washington if you are short on time but still want to see all the highlights and learn about the history of Washington ( whole staying in New York.) Our tour guide, Yurika, explained everything so well and looked after us for the whole tour. She answered questions and was happy to take photos and was a lovely person. It is a long day but with plenty of stops for snacks and to stretch our legs, and a very comfortable bus , it went very smoothly and was enjoyable.

Awesome Views

Going during off hours (early afternoon) avoided excessive crowds. Also being in NYC during shoulder seasons minimizes overall city crowds. The history, views, and sharing with family enhanced our experience. I had been outside on WTC years ago and loved the views - this was as (or more) impressive. Only downside was the pop up wine bar was not open (!). I didn't want a beer, I wanted a glass of wine yet unless I ponied up to the restaurant there was none available. Not a showstopper, just an observation. Loved our time and I'll return again in the future.

Heaven!

What a perfect way to begin our visit to New York City. The schooner, the crew, and the view at sunset were heavenly. This was our son-in-law's first visit to New York City.I can't imagine a better way to introduce him to the beauty of the city than this relaxed, uncrowded, beautiful, and quiet sail. Getting so close to the Statue of Liberty was an experience of a lifetime. The crew were so much fun and served our wine with delight, took pictures of our family , and were just all around great. I can't recommend this particular trip enough!
