The boat departs from Chelsea Piers, on Pier 62, which is located at West 22nd Street and the Hudson River. We are at the northern end of the Chelsea Piers Complex on the water. Our ticket booth is located steps from the dock on Pier 62. Check in at the Classic Harbor Line ticket booth upon arrival.

Make your own way to the Chelsea Piers where you'll board your classic ship, the Schooner Adirondack.
Set sail on New York Harbor and soak up the views of the Manhattan skyline as the setting sun illuminates the skyscrapers in golden hues. As the boat sails along the Hudson River, have your camera ready for close-up views of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.
Get a glimpse of Brookyn as you sail by the SeaGlass Carousel. Toast the experience with your included beverage as the sun slowly fades while sailing by Battery Park and Manhattan's Financial District.
Your experience ends back at Chelsea Piers, where you'll disembark.

What a perfect way to begin our visit to New York City. The schooner, the crew, and the view at sunset were heavenly. This was our son-in-law's first visit to New York City.I can't imagine a better way to introduce him to the beauty of the city than this relaxed, uncrowded, beautiful, and quiet sail. Getting so close to the Statue of Liberty was an experience of a lifetime. The crew were so much fun and served our wine with delight, took pictures of our family , and were just all around great. I can't recommend this particular trip enough!

What a wonderful experience! We took the family and the sunset boat ride was nice. Saw the Statue of Liberty up close after so many years. Highly recommend. The staff were wi accommodating and helped take photos for us.

Perfect cruise down the Hudson to the Statue of Liberty and back. Plenty of opportunities for both sides of the boat to see Manhattan, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty (up close), and the sunset. Great crew, great sailboat, great experience!!!

Well I was 3 minutes late and was left. I texted the host that I will be running a few minutes late and I got no response. This was the last event of my trip and it was so incredibly disappointing to be left.

Julie, thank you for booking a cruise with us. We are sorry that you were not able to make it for your original departure. However, it appears that we were able to accommodate you on another sunset trip that departed shortly after the one you had booked, which is not mentioned in your review. Regarding the original trip, we are unfortunately not able to hold the boats for late arrivals. Often times, late arrivals claim to be a few minutes away when in reality they are much further than that. Or they go the wrong way once they do arrive and get delayed even further. Or they were using the wrong destination for the estimate. There is no way we can evaluate these claims to know how long it will will really take someone to arrive. Imagine being a passenger that has arrived on time, and the crew tells you that we are going to wait 5 minutes for someone that is running late. Then imagine that the 5 minutes stretches to 10 minutes and then 15 minutes with no one arriving while you are just sitting at the dock. Finally, the boat departs, and everyone who arrived on time has lost a significant portion of the underway portion of their trip. Maybe the late arrival shows up 18 minutes late just to see the boat pulling away. Now, all the passengers on the boat and the person that was late are all upset. We cannot add time to the end of the trip because we have another departure afterwards, and many of our guests have time-sensitive plans immediately after the trip. We do suggest that all of our guests arrive early to avoid this situation, and we feel bad for everyone that misses their cruise, but I hope the above scenario helps to clarify that the only way we can operate is to depart on time. - Classic Harbor Line

What a wonderful experience. The crew and captain on the schooner were very friendly, knowledgeable and were circulating the whole time to answer question, take pictures and talk about what we were seeing. The Schooner was amazing, perfect for a small group tour. It was the sunset cruise and I would highly recommend it and this ship and crew, Classic Harbor Line.

The boat was in excellent condition, apparently it was new. Super clean, good crew, made everyone feel welcome. It would be nice if there was a person on board who provided a commentary on the key points of interest we could see from the ship. Whenever I asked, I was given a thorough answer but it would be cool if that were a standard part of the experience…..

Six of us came for my mother’s 75th birthday (who now sometimes needs a cane). The captain came to greet us for pre boarding, made sure she was comfortable — it was perfect!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience on the Sunset Cruise. The views are absolutely beautiful, and sailing along the river is an excellent way to spend an evening. The staff was PHENOMENAL (especially Diana, Lisa, and Yuri) and were receptive to everyone's questions and needs. We had one of the best weekends ever, and this was a huge part of that. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful and beautiful couple hours on the water.

Bad weather- we got drenched and not enough space underneath covered area to aid my 85 year old Mother. Being drenched forced us to cancel dinner reservations and had to leave NYC early. They Should have had reschedule options …

The crew has reported that ponchos were provided as well as an option to go below, but we understand that taking advantage of these options can take a little time in a sudden downpour. It is challenging to forecast the weather in NYC because the immense heat of the city interacts with approaching systems in ways that can often cause rain to dissipate or split and miss the area, but other times it can intensify or simply roll through. The future radar and forecast called for the rain to split or break up on this occasion, but that did not happen. Our team did their best to anticipate, but we cannot get every situation right, and we cannot cancel every time that some rain approaches as we would end up missing many beautiful sailing opportunities this way, which are often the only chance our guests will have to get on the water during their trip. Well worth it! The boat is very nice, crew was outstanding… so kind and attentive!!! Great experience to relax while enjoying some excellent views of manhattan, Statue of Liberty, etc. Plenty of space to relax, very pleasant. Highly recommend!!! Tons to do outside on Chelsea Piers.
